Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

This doesn't solve the problem where when verifying a bank the digits it's asking to confirm changes and thus I can't confirm the bank info. Customer support scheduled a call from the tech end of things and it's been a few weeks without any call back from them. I've had hundreds of dollars bouncing around in limbo, all the while Ebay happily takes their fees and what not.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

This totally messed up my flow as a seller... I hate this. Now I have to wait 3-4 business days to get my funds... more predictable? flexible? convenient? I prefer the old way!

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

No way to correct any info on this.  Tried calling and got a number that no longer exists and there is no way to get through to a real person.  My account info is missing 3 numbers and the money is no where to be found and there is no way to even add a different account.  It goes round and round.  But does not let me know wheer my money is.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

My first MP sale was made today with a fee increase of over 200% with an eBay fee of $.43 on a $1.00 postcard.  When I was on PayPal using their micropayment fee available for sellers with average sales under $10.00 (5% + $.05 transaction fee) my selling fee was PayPal $.10 + eBay $.12 for a total of $.22.  This is an egregious fee increase.  So instead of realizing a $.15 profit on this sale I lost $.08.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

I am not against the concept of managed payments but I hate the format. It so hard to keep up with.

Why can't all processing be shown for each transaction at once? I get ad fees taken out with net and shipping fees taken from a completely different item and multiple subtractions from 1 transaction for other unrelated transactions.

I have piles of paper on my desk of bank statement and different payout forms to try to rectify that all charges are correct.

Sell an item take the fees shipping  and ad fees out of that transaction not a transaction 4 days later. Too much confusion!

I have dropped all my promoted listing because of this and am going to start shipping from Pirate Ship to try to cut down on the confusion. My next step is to swing all my listing to other platforms.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

This new payout system is so terrible on so many different levels. First off not to keen on Feebay having access to my checking account. Second the idea of having to wait 3 to 4 days for my money to show up in my bank account is just plain unacceptable when it was available immediately with Pay Pal and not to mention this isn't saving me any money. We as sellers should have a choice as to how we prefer to get paid but our freedom is being taken away just like anything else in this country now a days. I'm looking for a new platform to sell on, any suggestions?

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

We are in that same loop.  This is driving us crazy.  We don't know how to fix it and ebay can't seem to find the problem either.  They tell us everything looks ok and restrictions will be removed in 48 hours.  48 hours!!!!  We are using computers.  It should be fixed in 4.8 seconds if the customer support people knew what they are talking about.  I see this is from November.  Did they ever get yours fixed?

We are going through the same thing now.  Did they ever get your account working right?

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

I am dealing with much less valuable sales but it is very frustrating to be  caught in the ebay loop of non payment to sellers.  This is just not right and I can't believe ebay is not dealing with it better.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Who did you talk to to fix your account?  Neither ebay or any of us can figure out where the disconnect is.  Customer support tells us everything is fixed and will be back to normal in 48 hours.  They have been saying that since October.  Now, as of this week, our buyers cannot even pay.  Our listings are still active but it is no use if they don't let buyers pay for the items.  Even though they are holding our money, I cannot refund a buyer.  I guess I will have to write a check and put it in the mail to the buyer.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Good luck.  I imagine they will tell you ,"No".  They want everyone on the managed payment system because it is more money for them.  We signed up for it voluntarily but are very sorry now.  We have spent hours on the phone to be told everything was fixed only to see no change in the performance of the listings.  They have been holding our money and just this week, they won't accept payment from our buyers.  That makes no sense.  Ebay can't seem to tell us what is wrong so there is no way to fix it.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

Welcome to the club.  We cannot seem to figure out what is wrong with our account and customer support is no help.  They have been holding our money for a while now and this week, they won't even let our buyers pay for the items.  Sounds like ebay is shooting themselves in the foot over and over.  I guess after a while we won't be able to afford to list anything on ebay.  It was fun while it worked.

Re: Infographic: How payouts work on managed payments

managed payments ???
"this means savings for their business.* It’s that simple."
One bundled fee automatically deducted from the sale
Now, when it comes to payments, fees are more transparent (NOT SO FAST )
and reconciliation is easier. The main thing to think about is your final value fee and
ignore the fact that ebay is charging you more when it comes to the sales tax charge .
EXAMPLE: NEW YORK charges 8% sales tax so on a $25.00 purchase + the sales tax = $27.00
$2.00 now the old way you the seller would pay only 2.9% on $ the $ 2.00 TAX which = 5.8 cents on that $2.00 tax.
The manage payments would be 12.35% on that $2.00 tax which means you would
pay 24.7 cents . NOW THAT HOW THE MAGIC WORKS !!!
