If you’re an eBay seller living or established outside of the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, or the European Economic Area (except Iceland), then this information below is for you.
eBay has partnered with Payoneer, a leading cross-border payments platform, to deliver payouts to sellers in your region. When eBay manages payments for your account, you may create listings on international eBay sites, but you will need to link a Payoneer account to eBay to receive payouts.
Earnings from your sales on eBay sites will be disbursed to your Payoneer account in US dollars. If you are living or established in Hong Kong, you can also choose to be paid in Hong Kong dollars.
If you are required to link a Payoneer account to receive payouts, you will see a message similar to the one below when registering for eBay to manage your payments.
If you are a business seller, please also have documentation prepared ahead of time for the business you intend to register for eBay to manage payments, including:
Please note that payouts for all sales disbursed to Payoneer accounts will be made in US dollars. If you are living or established in Hong Kong, you can also choose to be paid in Hong Kong dollars. After funds are in your Payoneer account, you can convert your payouts to your local currency and withdraw to your bank account.
More information about registering international accounts for eBay to manage payments can be found in eBay Export, and the Payoneer website. Additionally, if you are a Russian seller that is experiencing issues with registration, please take a look at our guide here.
As always, thanks for selling on eBay.
