Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

I bought a watch from Venezuela but the translation mode wouldn’t work to see reply’s and it’s on in my settings.i have bought the watch but can’t tell what was said and took a big chance.please help!!!

Can’t update email address

Site says the email I want to update to is already taken but all other accounts including pp use the address, why don’t system just email the update address for verification??
