Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

The problem has just started today 10-13-25 while using the search to find the items I’m looking for. The minute I press enter my search is revealed but then the app completely crashes and closes the app entirely. I am using an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
