I bought a MacBook Pro from eBay on July 11th. I returned it back and asked for the refund on Jul 26th based on free return policy on Ebay. Three days later, I asked Ebay to step in since I had not received the refund then. However, my account was suspended for no reasons after I opened a case on Ebay.
In order to get my money back, I opened a debit dispute case with my bank. The bank gave me money back on Aug 1st, but reversed my dispute on Sep 13rd. The reason for reversing the dispute is that the returned package (1lb) was way different from the original package(8lbs), which is the evidence provided by Ebay. However, on the return shipping label provided by eBay/ the seller, the weight is 1lb. In other words, Ebay used their self-generated shipping label to challenge me…. and since my previous account is suspended, I can retrieve the messages info to argue with them but only have a photocopy of the shipping label. Also, my bank told me the case is finalized so they can change it. How can I get help?

EBay also issued priority return labels for packages 1lb.+
Before GA came out eBay was also issuing FedEx return labels.
No; they didn't. Packages that were 3 lbs, 8 lbs were still ALL issued as FC Return (which MANY threads were started asking about it).
ALL return packages (unless they were Fedex/UPS Originally- couldn't tell you about that) were FC REGARDLESS of weight (before GA).

When you open a dispute outside of eBay when they haven't even made a decision yet you'll get banned. Same with any company. Amazon. Mercari etc. You got banned because you went against their TOS

That's not true.
Ebay consistently automatically generated priority labels for me for items that had 1lb or greater.
Ebay didn't only generate FC return labels.
"Anytime you use an eBay return shipping label, returns are shipped by either USPS First-Class or Priority Mail, depending on the item's cost, package weight, and delivery time."

Just to clarify - I received exclusively Prioritiy Mail RTN Labels for the few returns I have transacted. Not a single First Class RTN Service label - prior to Ground Advantage & Since. Either I have hit the right sellers or it's arbitrary on selection.
In terms of this main subject, any business has a reasonable expectation of consumer use for their service. They are for making sales, not for those who enjoy practicing impulsive nickel & diming return behavior. I suspect that the author has had this happen at other businesses & likely will also in the future. The fact they got caught here, was just their time to get caught.

Update:
I sued eBay in small claim court and won my case today. The Judge ruled in my favor by default after I presented my 19-page evidence and statement that eBay should not challenge my bank dispute on behalf of the seller.
Now it is gonna be another story of getting money from eBay. The court already sent a copy of judgement to eBay's legal department and all I have to do is wait.
So far, I am nearly done with eBay. As eBay said they decided to part away with me in letter when I sent them a demanding letter for the money before filling a small claim case, I will also ban eBay for life and use my example to persuade my friends around me to do so.
Maybe someone would question why I did not file against the merchant. That's because eBay successfully drew my angers when they refused to accept the evidence I sent to them and insisted on making wrong decisions. I just wanna punish eBay.
Merchant's name: quickshipelectronics
Maybe a take home message: do not 100% count on good reviews when shopping, **bleep**s can happen all the time.
Good luck to you all!
