@tyler I have to slide a puzzle piece to fit. Most times it takes on the first try, but there are times I have to do it a couple times.
It hasn't requested I call.....yet.This is helpful, thanks @dentalsales4u - this is actually an open technical issue that is being worked on, let me get you added. Do you have your 'landing page' when you log in set to anything other than the default Seller Hub/Summary page? Tech has asked for that detail specifically.
The landing page is set for my eBay which is what has sold, just like on my other account.
I've even gotten it on my buying account a couple times. The landing page there is my watch list.
I also got this while trying to respond.

Regarding Scan Forms -
Can anything be done to lighten up the 2 big bold thick horizontal lines that run across the sheets?
The lines are in bold from A. Mailer Action near the top of the form and B. near the bottom third of the form.
These lines are 1/4" wide and run 7" across.
They are eating tons of ink. This started with the last improvement to the bulk shipping tool. (The old scan forms had these lines in much a lighter gray scale shade).

Any word on the "same day shipping" error when the seller actually has 1 day shipping? I REALLY don't like buyers seeing that on my items when it isn't true........... Note the time will expire at 5 eastern so you won't be able to see it, but I just checked and it is still showing.....
Hi @dhbookds - no updates on this yet, but we're adding examples and working with the tech team to get this resolved. Thanks!

Yes the eBay boxes are really poor quality. They are poorly made with low quality control standards. Also they are all 32 ECT which is only good for light duty use. I personally won't buy them anymore. The bubble envelops have been good for me though 🙂
The airjackets are ok except the glue strip never gets close enough to each side so there are always big loose flaps. I have to use packing tape to secure them which is such a waste.

@golfingaddict wrote:I don't know if it is just me, but recently I began noticing that when I log into ebay there is a checkmark on the thing that says "stay signed in"
I don't want to stay signed in and I have to remember to uncheck it. I don't remember it being the default before a month or so ago. Is there a reason for this? Is that what most users want? I'd rather have the default that is not checked to stay signed in.
Also, on that sign in page there is a thing that says "sign in with facebook" and "sign in with google"
What exactly does that do and how does it affect the log in when you have multiple ebay accounts like I do?
Thank you in advance and Happy Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving or any other thing you might celebrate tomorrow. I celebrated my birthday today with 27 holes of golf. Not bad for this time of year. Windy and cold but playable. FORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi @golfingaddict, most members do wish to stay logged in so this option is defaulted to being checked. I can pass along feedback for enhancements to this process to indicate that you never wish to remain logged in.
As for logging in with Facebook or Google accounts, this is simply another method of logging into eBay. The option is available on a large number of other platforms, and some benefits include convenience or additional security. The account that you connect to your Facebook or Google would be the account you are logged into when you use your Facebook or Google account credentials. You could link each of your Facebook or Google accounts to a different eBay account as you see fit.
And happy Birthday! So glad you got to play some golf to celebrate

I have always taped the flaps shut out of paranoia The eBay ones are a bit worse than normal, but most bubble envelopes don't have adhesive to the edges.

Hoping you can clarify something for me regarding a Seller Hub unit. I've been watching two different units for a week or so now.One is named simply "Sales" and includes information about sales including the percentage increase or decrease in my total sales over the last 31 days "compared to the prior 31 days" It does not, so far as I can see, provide an easy way to compare the last 31 days over the same 31 day period last year.A different unit, entitled "Sales (last 31 days)" provides a comparison "compared to prior 31 days" AND a comparison "compared to same period a year ago". That last part would seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. And, indeed, when I have looked at the percentage shown for the "Compared to prior 31 days" period, the percentage has been the same every day for the last week or so in both units. So, it would appear both units are measuring my TOTAL SALES.Now, here's where it gets confusing. In this unit, ebay's informational note says:"Market comparison based on sales in Ties and Hats. We chose these categories because you've had the most listings here in the last month."That may indeed be what this unit USED to measure. But, as my week-long comparison appears to demonstrate, it NOW appears to be measuring my TOTAL sales, not just my tie and hat sales. So, my question is:Am I correct, and this is indeed measuring TOTAL sales (I hope so, because that information is FAR more useful than measuring just two categories, especially for someone like me, who sells a variety of long tail stuff)And if I am correct, perhaps it is time for ebay to remove the information claiming that it is measuring only two categories?
Hi @my-cottage-books-and-antiques, you are correct that the total shown is for your total sales, not just for specific categories. I've checked and am not seeing where it says the sales data is for specific categories. Can you give me a screenshot or link to the page that states this? Thanks!

I have a bothersome issue involving one of the community mentors. I started a thread on the Shipping & Returns board about getting one of "those" returns. I was contesting the return and thought I would share my experience with others. I posted the title of the listing, item specifics, description, etc. so other could follow along.
When returning to update the thread I was shocked and extremely miffed to find that in post #18 I was accused of being a drop shipper, causing the return by stating different sizes within the listing, using photo shopped photos and other falsehoods.
In post #22 a member whom I do not know attempted to correct poster #18 to no avail. Poster #18 continued to post slanderous falsehoods about my business.
Alan, would you kindly encourage Community Mentors to refrain from this type of behavior? Thank you.

Update: Poster #18 mentioned above shows the Community Mentor badge for 2019 in her profile.

Most other brands I've used have approx 1/4" space at the ends, 1/2" tops. eBay envelopes are a full 1" unglued on each end. If you're lucky enough to get a "good" shipment it will be 3/4".

I have sent emails, send messages on Facebook for Business and Twitter but I still can not get a solution.
My biggest competitor has two anchor stores with the exact same 4000 items. The have the same UPC codes, Same Descriptions, same images, ship from the same location and both bill to the same paypal account.
They are doing this to gain exposure on your platform. This is clearly against eBay rules.
They have now secured the number one and two spot on my items and this pushes other sellers like myself lower in search.
Does eBay take any kind of action against this type of gaming the system?

Hi @maxoptical, we'll need to see some listing examples so we can get this reported. I'll send you an email sometime after the chat today. Thanks!

Also I don't dispute the rules setup in this forum, but the way the mods edit comments is concerning. I have requested to have some comments of mine removed that they completely rewrote, but I am not getting any response. If I break a rule I don't want some mod reworded comment to be falsely represented as something I said.
Hi @gwzcomps, if we are able to modify a post to retain the original meaning and remain within our Community Guidelines, we will do so. We will not remove content from the Community that does not violate our Community Guidelines, though our moderators may be able to help with edits or by locking a thread you have started in some instances. If you ever feel that an edit to one of your posts has significantly changed how it would be interpreted by others, we'll be happy to review for appropriate action.
Thanks despite my many attempts to contact the mod I have been ignored. I feel the edits don't represent my original content and were more than just removing content that was against the rules. I am taking it higher up the chain, but I am surprised how the mods behave considering they get paid to moderate this forum.
Hi @gwzcomps, we'll investigate this further and touch base with you via email.
