Why have all my templates disappeared?

Like many others it seems, all my templates have gone!I get the fact that they're not going to magically re-appear, but i'd like to know WHY they disappeared....Anyone from ebay fancy chiming in on this?

Why can't thumbnail size be adjusted in view options in standard eB search categories?

As the title says - thumbnail size is not adjustable in a standard category search. Only when you include a search filter do the extra option appear in the View flyout. Is there a reason for this. Desktop users don't need the default large size pix.....
