Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

Unread notifications

The eBay app tells me that I have two unread notifications (red dot on the app icon, and notifications in the app) even though I've read everything and cleaned up. Uninstalling the app doesn't solve the problem. It's quite annoying.
