Resolved! Blocking google sign-in popup that hyjacks my search focus and forces me to close the popup instead.
I do not have a google account and do not wish to sign-in using any 3rd party. Google is the only one that has this intrusive popup on certain websites and they say you have to contact the each webpage admin not google- canned passing the buck answer...
