I received money back ($599.99) on an insurance claim through ShipCover, now the package is on its way back to me. The tracking shows the item went to destination state, came back to mine and sat for a while (shipped Dec 3rd, arrived at buyers house Jan 13th) , I filed a claim Jan 2nd, got paid Jan 3rd, then it showed up at the buyers house Jan 13th, they returned to sender (Honest buyer, thank goodness 🙏) and it shows "Return to Sender Processed" My question is.... What do I do with it if I get it back? I'm still half way expecting USPS to lose it again, but if they don't....do I just resell it and 🤫 shh.... or is there a RIGHT (🙄) thing to do?

Thank you for reaching out regarding your recent claim. We are glad to see your item is no longer lost and is returning to you. Once you receive the package back, return the claim payment to shipcoverclaims@pipinsure.com. Be sure to reference your ShipCover claim number. Feel free to contact us directly with any additional questions.

If you are interested in the 'right thing'- ask the insurer what they want you to do.

But I would wait till it returns and you had a chance to inspect everything.

I've seen carriers and insurance providers send the seller a bill/invoice for repayment after lost items are recovered. I don't know with ShipCover specifically how they'd handle it, but that's my guess.
Hopefully @ladonnamart will take care of it before anything escalates.

Thank you @shipcover for everything! When this whole thing first happened the insurance claim process was so easy! We got our money within 1 day! It was crazy how fast and easy it was. And I'm very thankful that the company was willing to work with us on the payment because the value of the item was very high and we are a small struggling business so this whole situation really hurt us, but Shipcover was very understanding and worked with us. So THANK YOU!
To anyone questioning which to go with USPS or ShipCover - I strongly suggest Shipcover! They are amazing!
