Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.
Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.
Update as of 03/05: Thanks for your feedback! I'll be tracking updates here.

On a PC I definitely do not find this an improvement. Of the 2 choices that come to mind, come back and check things out or run away screaming, I think the best option is the 2nd one. 😱😵😱
If anyone is interested I have an idea and may need some help. Was thinking of dropping by eBay HQ when they were closed at night and rearranging all desks. Feels like that as a seller each time I log in here and can't find something else they've changed, modified, moved or broken.

I'm a little nonplussed about a supposed hosting company not being able to connect the dots any better...are they not being given the correct information, similar to when the former boards were destroyed and Lithium was given (1) a 3-year-old database and (2) the 'community manager' or whatever he was here called HAD NEVER, EVER EVEN BEEN TO THE FORUMS BEFORE - so dawg knows what kind of information he was giving them. Before I finally write them off as a lowest-bid deal, I'm wondering if (now named) Khoros is even being given coherent procedures.
To my eye it closely resembles single line BBS's of the early 1990's. You dialed up with your modem. Checked your messages. Responded to new posts and signed out to repeat later if you could connect. Then repeat. Sorry. Bad me!!! Couldn't resist and was having flashbacks of years gone by. 300 Baud dial-up rocked!!!! To anyone that doesn't recall it was probably before you were born!!!

@loveyourimagination49 wrote:@atypicaloldgoat Have you tried the replies tab next to the posts tab?
Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it just now. That tab shows me other people's replies to other people, but just as disjointed in time and space, and not related to what I have posted at all. So still no help to follow conversations.

Sorry that didn’t help. Everyone is trying to figure out the new “out of the box experience “. Hopefully we will get an update?!

The Soapbox, where we have ongoing discussions with many posters participating, has become unusable. There is no way to tell who has commented last, so no way to respond to them. Also, folks have "Home" threads there. They are dropping off the pages, and since we can't sort by recent posts, there is no way to tell if our posting friends have replied to us or asked us a question.
Is no one from the community team going to respond to me? Do you just want the folks who post there to go away? Because that is what is happening.
Please? Anyone?
I've taken note of this and will post an answer on Monday.

Oh, heck! Rearrange the desks, empty the drawers and dump everything in the dumpster, then take the casters off the desk chair. After that, glue the bathroom doors shut.

That was mid-80s for me - I had a trash-80 and hooked it up to a 9" diagonal TV (black and white, natch) and daisy chained everything. One of the bulletin boards was the Never Ending Novel that various people contributed to. It was sometimes surreal, sometimes funny, sometimes painfully bad but always interesting.

LOL!!! 😂
That is a good analogy. Don't forget to put super glue at the bottom of those desk legs so that they cannot change it back to the "old format" too. Change the locks when you leave.

I am having difficult with your upgraded new site unfortunately it will take me a while to catch on, I have about 200 pieces of clothing to put on , if it takes me to long to feel comfortable I may have to quite this site.
You should realize that the sellers are from the Old School and simple is all we know.
I love this site and now I have to get a tutor to take me step by step to navigate this new site.

One of the last BBS's I belonged to had 3 lines so you could actually have a live discussion. That was on a Commodore64. All was good as long as I didn't plug in the joystick while it was powered up. Would fry "the board" if you did. Live and learn. TR80 would have been a major upgrade!! 🤣

The TR80 had been out for a while by the time the Commodore came along. I did use a cartridge system with a Smith-Corona, though - a very innovative little word processor that came out in the mid-80s with no internet capability, but wonderful editing abilities. Since it was just to bang out articles it was perfect!

1. The text box shrunk and is vary annoying to use. It can be stretched but with all the empty space it should be bigger by default.
2. Removing the function of auto-bumping posts to the top when replies are given is the worst change. It ruins the efficient "back and forth" communications as the posts become "lost" and adds additional redundancy to find them again.
I get the feeling that the people that removed the auto-bumping don't use the community boards much, or at all, and are simply ignorant to the effect it has to inhibit communication, or otherwise, the reasons were more ebaycentric and deliberate with complete disregard for the posting community.

Here's a new problem I haven't seen before. Instead of 1 topic discussing today's problem of sold auctions being shown in unsold listing and related problems, such as being unable to send invoices, there are now 25 separate discussions on this error in Technical Issues and a number more in Selling. I'm guessing this is partly due to not being able to sort listings so that when someone comments, the listing goes to the top. Having 30 or more separate threads discussing a single problem is extremely inefficient. IMHO I believe the new Community platform is a primary cause of this, as I've never seen such a plethora of duplicate threads before.

@atypicaloldgoat wrote:How do we see an accurate list of our recent posts? Whereas last week I could click on my profile, and under "Recent Posts" I could click "View All", and they would ALL be there, now there are only SOME. It's spotty. What will be the fix for that?
@atypicaloldgoat- Go to your profile page and click on the replies tab. The way this is set up is reversed from how it used to be- before your replies would be the default view and posts you started would be the secondary tab. It's more intuitive to have your replies be the default- maybe eBay can switch that back at some point.
If you want something similar to the old view than you can bookmark this link which has pagination, shows helpfuls, etc- https://community.ebay.com/t5/forums/recentpostspage/post-type/message/user-id/4483760
Anybody can use that link- just change out the numbers at the end to the ones on your own profile page.
