Again - why would they need your password?

IMO they shouldn't need it.  If they can test one listing at a time without a password, they can check them all.

We asked i-ways to use our eBay token (sign-in) to protect your full inventory of listing compliance being available to anyone publicly. You can view a single item without your password, but to get a full download of all your items, we want that to be available to you only. Thanks.

Thanks for the note. Yes, our plan is to fix these before the deadline.

Also, the sign-in is a common token that we use with third-party providers. You actually sign in to

eBay and we don't share your password with the third party.

You mean fix the ebay links showing up?  I'm sure it will be 'soon' before the deadline.

And sorry, the 3rd party can pull in a sellers listings by seller - no need for a password - even if I did believe that you don't share it.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, a third party can pull the the information that is available publicly. However, we didn't want any other seller to have easy access to all of your data. That's why we asked them to add the eBay sign-in to ensure you were the only one who could see the full report of your compliant/non-compliant listings.

After reading everything I decided to try the tool to check my listings.  Didn't like it but did it anyways.

All I am getting is We're creating your report for 10 minutes.

Then I decided to try it with just checking the item number, once again for the last 10 minutes IT IS NOT WORKING.  It just states We're creating your report.

Now what.

I have tried using the i ways tool on 3 different browsers and still can't get it to work.  Really aggravating!

We're working on a fix now. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the answer because I was wondering if it is me.  All I am getting is:

We're creating your report

Create queue Importing items: 1 of 1
Analyzing items: 0 of 1

As well most people, I'm sure! It's as if there were some sort of contest to see who could write the longest message while making the least amount of sense.

What on earth are we to make of this sentence: "You have listings that contain or link to HTTP content, and we encourage you to remove this content from your listings immediately."

Re: stronger browser security...

I changed all my http to https and my pictures still did not show up, because I host my own photo's, and my web host does not support https. once I changed over it also block me from other sites.. I had to change everything back to http... now if you want to see my pictures, you have to go to auction page and push button that says (see full item description)

Re: stronger browser security...

Google Chrome has got to big for their britches.  I seen where Google has profited big time this year on the stock exchange. But for some reason they can't make HTML compatible with ebay? A very easy solution to Chrome users on ebay. Change your browser. I switched back to Microsoft and all my listings now are secure with HTTPS in the web address.
