I had one buyer order 11 lots of resistors from me. After they received the resistors they told me that they measured some out of spec (Were supposed to be 1% tolerance, they measured some as far as 1.1% out of spec) and demanded a full refund for the entire order.
I did check the boxes for all the resistors they bought and found the one had resistors just barely out of spec but only right there and the next 4000 resistors were all in spec.
I offered to replace the ones that were out of spec, or to give a full refund (+the $3.50 it would take to ship them back) after they ship the order back. They said it wasn't worth their time to ship them back (but didn't ask for anything, just stated that). To me they were fishing to get $50 of stuff for free.
A week later they left feedback for every item as negative...
Not sure how to respond. I think I'm just going to leave ebay alone for at least year. I ended all of my listings after no sales since the negative feedback (I was selling ~10/day before)

No advice for you but the buyers feedback makes them look an unreasonable jerk IMO since they said you offered a refund. I don’t know what you sell but those 11 negs wouldn’t stop me from buying from you, if I came across one of your listings and saw the news I would just assume the buyer was fishing for a refund without returning the items or is an unreasonable person 🙂

I would report the buyer and be sure to contact ebay regarding that. It stays on our feed back too long.

Ugh...........
Since they originally wanted a refund, not sure why they didn't take you up on it....... and the negs seem to be fair to you..that you did offer refund. I think I would answer 1 with something like:
My apologies, I missed that they were a bad lot. Return for refund still available.

Is one of the ended listings. 4.65 isn't the original price (I was poking the listing right before I ended it) they were listed for 2.44. I removed "1%" from the title after this buyer.
EDIT: Oh and I had 3 other listings for different quantities.

I always say feedback doesn't matter much anymore, but that is just hateful. I see they also have their feedback set to private---which I think shouldn't be allowed. Their hatefulness should be in full view for anyone wishing to check them out as a buyer.

I wouldn't stop selling if I were you. Put a comment on each of the negatives and say "Offered buyer full refund, including return shipping costs"
This makes the buyer look like an unreasonable one. Wish I could see his ID!
DON"T say anything about your mistake in the feedback comments. Keep selling, just make sure you listings are 100% correct. "Never give up, Never give in!"

The bad news is you have 11 negs
The good news is they only count as one since they were left at the same time.
Respond to each and every one:
Full refund offered upon seller paid return. Buyer refused and left negs.
A professional response paints your buyer in a bad light, and you in a good light. It says to me that this seller is willing to make a problem right, and the buyer is looking only for a freebie or partial, otherwise why didn't they return? Especially when the return is free? Things happen. What's important is how a seller handles it.
You should have left your listings up. Something like this most likely would not affect your sales. Now, with no listings, the feedback percentage will go down quickly since you are not selling.

"Buyer rejected offer of full refund or replacement upon return"
"Buyer said returning the faulty lot wasn't worth their time"
"Buyer demanded full refund without return. We wanted to make it right"
Sorry you've run into this kind of nastiness. Don't take it personally. Respond professionally. Don't stop selling. Don't respond to all 11. Just enough to come off as a good seller to future buyers.

Isn't there some sort of unwritten rule about feedback bombing?
I'd probably call ebay to ask about this and to see if under the "rule" they quaify for removal. Doesn't hurt to ask!

There's no such rule. The buyer is entitled and allowed to leave feedback for each item purchased. No point calling ebay about this.

Frankly, it would strike me as a competitor trying to damage your business if I saw that many negs left for a seller on a buyer's feedback left for others page. Hopefully the buyer's feedback wasn't set to PRIVATE when they made the purchase.
I always check a bidders feedback left for others and their bid retraction record if possible before the listing ends. If a buyer has their feedback set to Private they get added to my BBL.

OUCH! This is horrible and a behavior that is way over the top.
I would make a couple of suggestions. Go to your buyer's FB page. Look at the FB they leave for others. See if you can see a consistency in how they treat sellers. A regular abuse of the FB system is a breach of the Ebay rules and can lead Ebay to remove these for you.
If you can't see the buyer's FB because they are marked as "private", then you will have to call Ebay and have them look to see if there is some kind of common thread in how this buyer leaves FB.
It appears from what you posted here that you were trying to work with your buyer, but your buyer wasn't interested in working with you. Unfortunately this does happen sometimes. A small fraction of buyers, no matter what you do, it just isn't good enough. Fortunately we don't have to deal with this kind of buyer very often. But when we do, it is very hard to understand. But a buyer that does this to a seller's account, well it just isn't right and you need Ebay to take a good look at this buyer to see if they are misbehaving.
The only good news is that it only dings your FB percentage once. Not all dozen or so of them. I know it isn't much of a postitive, but it is something.
I hope you get some help from Ebay on this. Please keep us updated.

buyer left in comment, suggested return refund, as if the buyer is the one who suggested the return and refund when really it was you who suggested return and refund. Also, buyer left negative feedback then came back and left more feedback as if trying to act as though it was 2 different buyers with the same problem.
Like others said, respond to his feedback and also, don't quit because of him. You're not the problem, that buyer is the problem.

You might also consider starting a new ID.
In addition, respond that one batch was off, the others were correct, you offered replacements.
