Best workaround to this double issue? Combined shipping options not working on either end.

I have a buyer who would like to purchase multiple BIN items and add to an existing purchase (she paid for the 1 item and shipping).  I can ship the other items for the price she paid already.  She cannot access the "add to cart/request total from seller" feature.  Despite my settings, I can't get the combined shipping feature to work properly.  What options do I have, I don't want to lose the additional sales or run into issues?  I already have a late shipping ding on the item she purchased while this gets figured out.

No problem in ending early.........just be sure you relist on ebay to have the buyer buy......  don't try to go thru paypal with an invoice......that would be "taking the transaction off ebay" and could get you thrown off.  When you relist the combination, put on a big price and then add best offer.  Tell the buyer what you are doing and have them make the offer on the agreed on price.  That saves worrying about someone else purchasing.

It would "cost" you a relisting fee for that one listng.......either a free one or the 30c (?), too early for me to remember what the charge actually is.......lol

If any are on auctions with bids, that's a bit more complicated, so post back if they are.....

Make up a listing for the rest of the items with the proper shipping.........  you could refund the lst one and add it to the new listing.......using buyer request to combine shipping......  I would send a message to the buyer if you do it to that effect.  Then she could buy.

Alternately, and I've never done it........but a blue stated you can use send an offer for additional items.......with the proper shipping.

You'd need to end the indiv. listings to be sure no one bought in the meantime.

Thanks for the suggestions, appreciate it.  If I end the BIN listings early does it hurt my account and/or cost a fee?  I've never done this before, thanks.

Thanks for your super fast response and ideas/information!  The items are all BIN, so no active bidders.  Glad ebay won't see it as a negative if I end the items early.  The buyer is not ebay-savvy so I was looking for the easiest strategy (while keeping with ebay policies).  Thanks so much!
