I have been a seller since 1998 I am quitting this is a con artist system now where they steal your money with the managed payments and even with 100 percent feedback I am considered a defective seller because items ran out of stock. Also they now rate you on scanned items and if the postal service is Kate I am held accountable. Beware after all these years I am out of this corporate bull **bleep**. They are thieves liars and have no more customer service in the USA. **bleep** you eBay.
I am writing this to warn other sellers beware they steal your funds with this managed payment system. They also charge you seller final value fees on sales tax. Which is unethical. They charge you final value fees on shipping fees to.
I used to work for. myself selling fine dolls toys Teddy bears etc now I work for eBay and they rob you.
Sorry I am so defective eBay but you are the defective **bleep**s to lose a good seller like me. me.
I asKed to speak to someone in California they told me no one takes calls from there anymore. They are too busy taking all the money they steal from eBay sellers.
Your going down eBay all the losers employees who con sellers to fill the pockets of the corporate scum
Ebay Your defective
not sellers who provided good service to clients. Goodbye. I hope other sellers read tgus and investigate your managed payments which is actually managed stealing

Can see how this has upset you, and sorry for it. Have to admit that your being a long time member here, am quite surprised that you found yourself in this situation.
The rules regarding shipping times have not been changed anytime in recent memory. Having an acceptance scan can mean the difference between being in good standing on eBay, or not.
In addition, we sellers have been charged a fee on the total sale, which includes shipping and taxes, for years.
Out of Stock is an eBay cardinal sin. That can take a seller down fast, as eBay penalizes those who have too many (in their estimation).
Ebay no longer uses Feedback as a measure for seller performance, tho maintaining a perfect score should be commended.
Afraid the bottom line is this—one cannot purport to be stellar in service to the customer while eroding buyer faith on the platform. Ignoring policy, canceling transactions for OOS and failing to meet one’s shipping times are valid concerns to eBay.
Good luck to you moving forward.

I don't think ebay is going to be happy you are chasing there customers away. This seller is ebay's customer who brings in more customers to ebay. I think ebay should see how you and others treat there customers.

Hahaha. They literally told you that? That they are busy stealing from eBay sellers? Are you sure you even spoke to ebay?
And how many of your 700 active listings do you actually have in stock right now?

Not much has really changed as far as the fee structure with the conversion to MP it's just that the sellers fees and costs are now consolidated in one place rather than being split between eBay and PayPal. EBay, like any business, exists to make a profit and I cannot fault them for that. I believe eBay has not done the best job with the transition and in fact ended up with more than it was bargaining for when they converted to MP. The quality of the customer support and lately their IT support has degraded considerably over the last year. There have simply been too many "glitches" that have had some major impacts on both buyers and sellers. Their seller protection has always been abysmal but that has also negatively impacted their bottom line as some sellers are simply not willing to list high value, high target items and getting scammed. The site is what it is and sellers, as well as buyers, come and go. I wish you the best in your future efforts and hope you find a site you are more comfortable selling on.

"Those ebay con-artists keep putting money IN MY BANK!! How do I get them to stop?? "
All from the comfort of almost anywhere in the world you want to live.
Such a surprising rant from the OP who has fantastic sales and apparently massive write off against taxes. I have the suspicion that the OP is more about the lowering of the 1099K threshold than anything else. It seems to be a common theme boiling to the surface as the end of the year approaches.

Thank you it’s been a long time coming to break away from this corporate greed. I thank u and wish you much luck if you continue to stay with eBay. Maybe the time will come for you to to escape the stress and control. Karen

Sorry to say if you were cancelling transactions for oos, that does not make you a 'good seller'. It puts a target on your back with Ebay.

Thank you for your best wishes actually your reply sums up the eBay situation better then my angry rant. The changes they have implemented with no clear explanations are causing me to leave after all these years selling on eBay. I have gone with the punches all these years and the changes but to actually be defined as defective is a last straw for me. eBay is better suited for sellers who are willing to dictated to. As a small business owner for most of my life I understand that it is not possible to dictate everything in retail selling to a level that they are going. Particularly in a selling environment that has effected almost all sectors especially postal shipping during Covid.
thank you ebay neighbors for your comments. I think once you see the control and lack of any real meaningful seller support you to may realize what I have that ebay is not what it once was and is only becoming less effective in offering service to sellers.
I already have an Etsy store. May be less clients, but maybe more consideration for sellers. We will see thanks again Karen A Century of Dolls New York

Too bad, you look like a very successful seller, I wish you good luck elsewhere. The defect system is the same for every seller that cancels for oos, as it should be.

I know how you feel.
I used to love selling my collectibles on eBay in the past. If I ever had a problem, eBay customer service would be on the case and resolve it post haste. That was then.....this is now.
If it helps at all....eBay stock is going down recently. I think the word is spreading. I keep hoping they will come to their senses and right the ship.

I like the name Karen,I was born in 1960 and I think it was the 5th most popular Womans name then
funny thing about the name, every single Karen I ever knew had dark hair
MP does not really rip you off, its the way ebay gives buyers your money back for late arrivals and so forth
I lost a few watches last year and some of the buyers did repay upon arrival and some did not
ebay sure does support crooks but it has little to do with MP and more to do with the MBG
