Anybody else experiencing this situation. I have listings ended and they are just frozen and not Rolling over like they are designed to? Is this new nightmare of a feature broken already?

Mine were 30 day listings that were already created and manually relisted during the initial GTC rollout. It was the 1st GTC cycle rollover. 3 went through and 2 did not and froze at "ENDED"

I'm not sure I understand. On or after March 18th there were only two listing options, auctions or GTC.
If prior to the 18th you had any 30 day FP listings, they would run as you had set them up for 30 days and then end as normal. If you had a 30 day listings set up prior to the 18th that has a certain amount of auto relists set up on the listing, then when it relisted after the 18th, it became a GTC listing.
The GTC mandate did NOT "rollout". It started on March 18th for everyone. Any FP listing you set up on or after the 18th is a GTC listing.

In Reply. I did not take the 11 down. I have left those few listing as is (not found in the listing pages on eBay but they are in my current listings with 29 days left. They just never generated as a listing.) I have used GTC on items for several years, such as shoes, as most shoe brands do not have many in size 10 so they do not get buried even with 30 day listings. I began the new system as my listings came down and went into the unsold file and had read the article that it would begin. I was taking most down after 10 days so they would not get lost among 2000 to 3000 listings in their category but were 11 that were to come down yesterday AM at 8:42. I had one similar that I wanted to list with that group so watched for them to go off and added the one from my draft as the 11 dropped off. After half an hour and looking to see if they generated, saw they did not and immediately called eBay. This was the first that were coming down under the new program. Ebay rep did tell me not to touch the 11 that are the issue but to take down others due to come off. There are some tomorrow morning coming down but will take them down tonight and relist myself. I did take belts down this afternoon and relisted them. This certainly is not what I was expecting to happen and finally last night I got a rep who understood what I was talking about. It was not understood quickly and I was not speaking in a friendly voice. LOL. Finally the rep understood and spoke with her supervisor. They were making a report for the tech team to look into this. I keep looking to see if magic happened but so far nothing. Hildi

I disagree with the rep who suggested ending the listings, but hopefully nothing is lost there.
So the common denominator for both @hildi123 and @ekmadonna is that these were previously 30 day listings that ended on or after March 18 and that were then manually relisted as GTC, probably on March 28th. On the first automatic renewal anniversary (April 27) the listings that were relists from a 30-day listing did not acquire the GTC rollover feature and ended as if they were still 30-day listings.
Is this a correct characterization? Are there other days involved or was the April 27th rollover the only date that failed?
To add to this, March 28th was a Thursday night maintenance...

I have not touched the 11 listings that came down yesterday morning. They are in my active listings showing 29 days left but have not listed on the eBay site. Since the new program began I have been taking groups down after 10 days on the new system and relisting them myself. I have never been able to relist as a 10 day listing since this program began. The listing automatically indicates GTC as I take them down and relist them. It was just yesterday morning that I let those 11 run their course of GTC and this issue came up when they did not relist. It amazes me that just a few sellers are finding this issue. The rep I spoke with yesterday morning could not even grasp what I was telling her so after well over an hour, I gave up. Last evening I decided to look to see if they had appeared with no luck. That was when I made the second call to eBay. I will wait another day to see if they appear and if not, a third call will be made. It definitely is an issue and there is a solution to it that will be found. I decided to look into the community board to see if there were any other sellers with this issue and found this section. It is a great area to find solutions to problems and greater yet that individuals like yourself take their time to seek solutions and answers to problems. Hildi

I have had issues similar in the past, I have had LISTINGS WITH BIDS end and go straight to my ENDED UNSOLDS folder SHOWING WITH BIDS on them and NOT show in SALES or SOLD folder, this happened a year and a half ago, 2 listings in the same batch. Called CS about this and they were scratching their head and could see it but had no idea what happened. I just don't want to have to worry about listings not rolling over and tech issues. I have 1500 listings to manage I don't need anymore headaches.

same problem now I have 3 GTC listings that ended and did not rollover. 2 FROZE when ended and did not rollover when my computer was off and I was out. I just had 3 more end and ended 2 myself manually and let the 3rd rollover to see if it was still going to FREEZE and it did. it freezes when ended and just says "SELL SIMILAR" next to the listings on my ACTIVE ALL SELLING page. the count down timer for all the rest of my listings seems to be working correctly. Can I please get a blue to look into this! This glitch could cause me massive issues if listings renew or disappear and GTC is not working correctly.

This might be a dumb questions but if it is on your active selling page, doesn't that mean that it has already relisted? Why do you think that it is 'frozen'?

Perhaps a system failure due to extra GTC listings?
Hopefully not but it sounds strange.
Yes, you might be correct ..... too much throughput in the system at one time, due to so many GTC listings.
The Sellers are overwhelmed trying to keep track, then the system is overwhelmed trying to keep up.

80% of the listings before the change were FP and/or GTC listings. Which means that 20% were auctions.
If as many sellers have left or are leaving Ebay as you and others have suggested, then it is likely the amount of GTC's are down. Unless not as many seller's left as you thought they would. IDK the answer to that at all. I'm just saying that it is doubtful there are issues from the volume of GTCs on the site after the change has overwhelmed the system since all the 30 FP listings were considered in the 80% number.

I have my SORT ORDER on active selling page set to ENDING SOONEST. Listings are not rolling over when they time out but are freezing on the top with "SELL SIMILAR" next to them, under these is the next batch of active listings and the time left before they rollover if GTC or END if Auction. the timer is working correctly!

From what I read here it looks like there were issues prior to the forced GTC, but system throughput isn't always related to just one process. System throughput issues can result when multiple processes within the eBay platform are running at the same time.
The first most likely cause of this issue would be too much data to process, which is a throughput issue. The next would be poor programming, which is somehow interpreting certain data in a listing incorrectly.
Not sure where you're getting your data regarding eBay listings, as I would assume this is very dynamic from day to day and only available to eBay employees. My educated guess is that there are many more GTC listings now with the new mandate.

You'd have to be more specific. I've used GTC for years. Certainly from time to time there are issues as there are on any site. But they don't or haven't lasted long in regards to GTC that I'm aware of. Some of the issues expressed on this thread are not widespread and some may be a misunderstanding. I think it is a combination.

You can't have it both ways. I know we all like to have it from time to time. But either sellers are leaving or sellers are not. If the system was being overloaded then that would mean that not only are seller's staying, but they are increasing the amount of listings they normally posted.

Well now that would be a given, wouldn't it. Of course there would be more GTC listings after the mandate. How could it be any different from that. I don't think we need to run a bunch of numbers to figure that out. LOL
It would also stand to reason that all the 30 day or less BIN listings that sellers use to run are NOT there anymore, so that volume of listings would be gone. So some are gone and some take their place.
It has been stated by Ebay and repeated many times on various threads across the community.
Here is a link to at least some of the stats for Ebay. Not sure if it is all that are available.
