Customer return after 10 months

  I sold an item in March of 2020 and the customer just(1/26/2021) sent me a message stating the part was just now tried for the first time and found to be defective. They want to return it or at least have and exchange. 

 Do I have to worry about any issues if I say no?

Sometimes I wish there was a 'bad' seller list like the buyer block list....I have my own in a notebook but it'd be easier if they were blocked automatically, seeing as I'm old and can't remember stuff........lolololol.

What about a seller selling a 1942 wheat cent that's worth a dime for $100.00. Is that not the essence of Greed or are you just trying to take advantage of uninformed buyers.

At least this 80 year old gal knows that it is illegal to ship magazines by Media Mail but it doesn't appear that you do by looking at your listings.

At least this 80 year old gal knows that it is illegal to ship magazines by Media Mail but it doesn't appear that you do by looking at your listings.

You also shouldn't sell partial bottles of cologne as new in box and they don't qualify to ship any way but ground service---not priority or 1st class.   Old people aren't all greedy, but many are honest and know the rules.

Yeah, I never saw a 'new in box' cologne come 50% full .. and new in what box? That's not even shown.

Some credit card companies including PP offer  120 day returns. Watch for a chargeback. CRAZY!

Have had it happen.  My reply was - "The mechansim to refund or adjust this transaction has expired." 

If it's something you routinely stock make sure to block the buyer.

@angwjea  You picked the wrong fight here.  A lot of us are old and older!  We are here to supplement our income, enjoy collecting and selling or maybe so we don't have time to rob banks!  Some of us are physically impaired and this is something we can do.  There is an active seller on the Collectibles Board who is 92 and still at it.

Maybe you will take time to read the rules for selling and correct some of your listings.
