Unable to Search on a mobile device

When I try to use the Search bar, I keep getting an Alert with an Error code, and the Search option will not work. Any help or advice to correct this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When I go to check on my account, and click my eBay , then selling or summary: it loads the page then takes me to win an amazon card. You can not get out of it except close the window. Is this a setting that I can change?
