"Recently Viewed" - WTH?

Has anyone figured out yet how to eliminate this horrible new "Recently Viewed" feature? (Located to the left of "My eBay") This feature is proving extremely disruptive, over and over. 30 to 40 times a day, my system basically "freezes up" every time...
