I had a customer contact me who wants to purchase from me, but EIS is not providing an option to the United Kingdom. And they are a previous customer of mine. Who previously purchased product through the same listing. Using EIS.
The business policy used by the listing was modified in the past to define shipping to only the US and Canada. Other countries, those not specified, were supposed to be shipped via EIS, but while most display, none of them now work (it says to contact me). And in the case of United Kingdom it doesn't show at all.
In an attempt to get EIS working, I changed the business policy so that it says I only ship to the US, no international, so EIS would kick in. It may have. I'm not sure. However, the United Kingdom is still completely missing.
And, also, the link that Ebay sometimes shows to the customer to "Contact the seller" for shipping costs does not work either. It goes to an error page. "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."
In any case, this is what my listing currently shows for shipping information:

Hi elizabeth@ebay . Please see this post by @bennotbill . Good opportunity to connect with your UK Community counterparts and keep them informed of what's going on with this. 🙂

As no real answers are forthcoming currently so plenty of suggestions are popping up. One that did make me think a bit was........
United Kingdom - UK
Ukraine - UKR
So is it possible that some tech has fat fingers or is not very bright?

I just changed all of my listings back to USPS 1st Class International package. I might lose the EIS protections but at least the UK and NZ now show up in the shipping options again.
There is no reason eBay shouldn't have had a solution to this problem already. It's been over a month since it was reported and still no clarity as to why the UK is blocked from EIS shipping.
Both buyers and sellers are affected by this, but it doesn't seem to be a high priority for the shipping team.

I have the same situation with the United Kingdom (UK) not showing on the listing's Shipping, returns, and payments tab. However, this only applies to some sub-categories using a shipping policy with eBay International Shipping (EIS).
Using this cash drawer key as an example, I found a workaround was to change the item to an entirely different, but similar-enough, category. The policy and other details remain the same, so it seems the missing UK is related to undocumented sub-categories excluding UK on listings.
In this test / example, changing the listing from Business & Industrial > Retail & Services > Point of Sale & Money Handling > Other Point of Sale & Money Handling ----- to ----- Collectibles & Art > Collectibles > Tools, Hardware & Locks > Locks, Keys immediately showed UK on the listing.

Still happening- we had a UK customer reach out over the weekend wanting to purchase, but we had no idea about this until finding this thread. Item is in the proper Toy category.
Will EIS eventually work this out with the proper coding, etc for UK? Or is it just how it will be moving forward?

Thought I'd add my experience...
when ebay updated the global shipping for Israel I was active with a British customer in messenger and watched as the shopping servers repropagated. All of my listings disappeared then reappeared during this update. My customer notified me that shipping was no longer available and the ebay.uk requested to contact the seller. I checked other ebay listings and international locations and found only UK seemed to be affected. Contacted ebay twice later that morning and week and found a workaround for my customer. Oddly, switching categories to a collectable category allowed my customer to order. This oddity doesn't work for my US customer searches so I have to be contacted about my listings in order to facilitate a sale.
I relayed this information during my second call and suggested that the associated eis module update was the source of the issue. My UK sales have dropped to zero and my only option is to rotate certain products thru the loophole category.

Despite similar posts on the UK forum and .uk and .com reps supposedly having a chat about it nothing over here is going to be done.
This is the latest UK reps post to the question on the weekly chat................
"We sent this for review to our technical issue, and there were no technical issues found. Also, we examinated the examples you shared with us, and we weren't able to replicate the issue, so again we didn't find any technical issues. So, this is working is a designed. If any sellers have any issues, encourage them to contact us and report it."

I suppose one day when someone notices a significate drop in sells going into the UK then someone may dicide to see why there is a drop in sales.

I'm having the same issue. At least it's nice to know that it's not my settings that are somehow causing UK to not show up so I can stop driving myself crazy.

We have seen eBay replying to this thread, but it's typically helpful to like the original post so others searching for UK problems can see this is a common issue and to draw more attention to it.

I've noticed on some listings if I click on the part that says post on UK sometimes it's free and sometimes it will charge 50 cents, so not sure if UK is even on EIS

Adding to this thread. I had a customer trying to buy something from the toy category from the UK and they were getting the same error. Is there any hope this will be resolved?
