Resolved! Update to app

Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

The App willl not up date - I’m using an Apple iPhone 6 - the IOS software for the phone says y the IOS is up to date . this appears to be a reoccurring problem with the eBay App. Very annoying - I guess I will shop elsewhere then !!!’n

EBay are telling me I need to upgrade my app, to IOS 17, but my phone won’t let me, good way to lose loyal customers

I made a purchase yesterday and I’ve just tried to use the App, I can’t as the App now requires ios17 minimum, and my phone doesn’t go beyond iOS 15.8!Well done EBay, you’ve manage to exclude thousands of customers! Unbelievable!!!

So iOS 17 required…..hmm iPhone states no software updates available to iOS 17, so no eBay use then!
