Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

Been trying to update my eBay but system just states version is no longer available so have no eBay at all at the moment, if eBay has technical issues at present at least inform it's customer NOT GOOD AT ALL ????????!

My iPhone 8 won’t download the new version as it needs IOS 17 to run, but when I tap the ‘download older compatible version’ the app just crashes and takes me back to my phone’s home screen. So I cannot access eBay at all now!
