My app said need an update or exit. I’ve tried downloading a new app but it just keeps repeating

The same message appears and therefore can’t load the app. My phone is an iPhone 7 so maybe the version not suitable? How do I get another version that is suitable? EBay.Uk

I’ve been on eBay since 1999, over that period, only buying, I have purchased over 2,600 items, only to find out today that the App needed updating, and it can’t be done on my iPad, says install an older download, but not how this is possible? Do tho...

After deleting app and reinstalling it did say download prev version but once completed goes straight back into needs update then can’t as it needs iOS 17 !!!
