Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

I updated the app a couple days ago and now on the search bar I can’t use my phone’s camera to search for an item, I can only search for bar codes. Is there anyone we way to do this through the app? For a seller this is not good.
