Resolved! Update to app

Been using eBay for years and it now won’t update app because it says I need ios16 which I cannot get on my phone.

I cannot get on to eBay as it wants to download version 16 . something , my pad only goes up to version 12 , I need to download an older version as prompted but it is taking me round in circles, any ideas . Cheers

New app update

Newest app update needs an update. Something went wrong is basically the only message I see, all over the app. Hopefully a new fix will be coming shortly.
