I am new with posting to Community, so bare with me & my (somewhat) ignorant posting.
I wouldn't normally do this sort of posting but this is just ridiculous to me to see this sort of thing going on. Now maybe it's a dad & his pageant princess daughter... (or a stolen photograph?) Still.. In my opinion It is just an uncomfortable photo in my eyes.
Now when all you can do is report "items" to Ebay then what's really the point when it comes down to the users/sellers themselves..?
Most users are too busy shopping, buying, posting or being appalled then shrugging it off, or just ignoring these sorts of things altogether..
Would most of us really want to constantly keep browsing, stop, come post in community (only hoping it gets noticed & reported) & then continue on your day.. It gets very repetitive and becomes a hassle when it shouldn't have been allowed it to begin with. It's almost like working without getting paid.
Ebay has gone off the handles with not monitoring some of their sellers (getting better; but buyers too). Ebay shouldn't Always rely on it's users to report issues as you don't see who you're buying from unless you really scroll down the page and look (especially on mobile app)... this shouldn't have even happened to begin with.
A sweep might be needed if there are such derogatory usernames and what looks like a boarderline child pornographic user profile photo being used. The photo itself just gives me uncomfortable vibes.
Now if I didn't like (what some may call it "snooping" or privacy concerns) to browse and check out the seller I may potentially buy from I think of it more like getting to know your seller without having the chance to personally be face to face while making the purchase. I like honesty and you can't really get that from screen reading some text; anyone could sugarcoat text & photographs.
Sorry if my post sounds like ranting; maybe it is?
Would you complain about it or just shrug it off?

This has to be a joke post.
An innocent pic of a father and daughter and a pretty mundane username.

What exactly do you find unacceptable about that user name, or photo?

OMG....Are you serious?

From your post:
I like honesty and you can't really get that from screen reading some text; anyone could sugarcoat text & photographs.
But you sure can pass ridiculous judgement based solely on a photograph.
Here's some honesty.....it's honestly disturbing that someone could see a photo of a man and a little girl, and their mind could go to where yours is going.

You have the choice to deal with the seller or find another one appeals to you.

Wow!!! I hope the administration sees this post and takes down your post, you're not supposed to reveal sellers or buyers id's in here, but I will definitely be blocking you, I would never want you as a customer.

Looks like you "tagged" the seller ID, too. That sort of invites the person here once they get the notification.

I can't speak to the photo or username, as both had been deleted by the time I got here. But as to your assertion that "Ebay has gone off the handles with not monitoring some of their sellers" I would point out that there are more than 25 million sellers on eBay. So they can't closely look at each and every one to make sure there's not something that would give one individual "uncomfortable vibes".

Thanks! What a perfectly lovely photo of father and daughter. And how sad that anyone could get uncomfortable vibes from looking at it.

WOW! While there is more to the OP's post then the photo and username they are going woke about, I find the whole concept of someone worried about an innocent photo and neat username a sad waste of time and maybe should find a different way to channel their need to make things right in a different direction. I am sure the local animal shelter or homeless shelter could use volunteers. Sad that someone would have found the photo to be pornographic even if just a little. 😞

The alleged photo is gone. You do realize eBay allows some adult content to be sold on the site. No?
I do find it interesting you claim to be new to the community but have the "Adventurer" tag under your user ID.
