Best practices for Seller payment and Buyer checkout issues

Below are some helpful resources and resolutions for common checkout issues and payment/payout set up:

 

  • Payment holds for new seller - We may place a temporary hold on funds for new or infrequent sellers, until you're established. This typically happens once you've been selling for 90+ days and have 25+ domestic transactions, totaling $250 in sales. More can be found here

 

  • How to register for selling on eBay - Our Help & Contact pages have some great information to get started selling on eBay. Once you create your first listing, you'll be walked through setting up your payment information and verification to complete the registration process.

  • Checkout errors/issues - If you're attempting to checkout, however your Payment is running into errors, please reach out to our Specialized Payment agents via the 'Contact Us' options at the bottom of the page here. Our agents will determine what may be causing the issue, if your attempted purchase is not going through and will be able to provide you with proper next steps.
