I have been unable to identify this object. The black pieces are spring
clamps much like a clipboard and the piece that sticks up has a wooden

The signed markings look to be typical of pieces sold to the tourists.
If you look up Honduras wood carvings on Google you should find several
artist styles that are similar.
I would suggest trying to find someone who knows about native american
artifacts. The red striping might suggest some soft of possible native
american link. You might also try posting it to a doll forum.
