I got this item at and estate sale because I thought it was made well. I still do not know what it is. It is 12 inches wide. The two black pieces are clips with springs where it appears that something clips to the board. There is some leather glued to it that appears to be where something goes up against the round groove and the leather is to protect from scratching. There is a metal piece in back that pulls up that has a little rooler on it. Any help on identifying this item would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
