I’m noticing that suddenly whenever someone sends me a message with a question about an item I can no longer visit the listing from the message. It used to be that the item they were sending a question about would be linked under the message. Now it just says the item title and then I have to navigate over to the selling page, search for the item, go into the listing, gather the information and go back to the messages to respond. Does who ever is updating eBay even use the site or they just make changes just to make changes and make things more difficult? This change is horrible. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, same here, Hate that . i think its because ebay changing the way messages are now like Chats facebook messenger whatsup etc. stupid, cant see the item someone ask a question about why you taking that out of the messages makes no sense to me

Could you check and see if this is a glitch or purposeful change......... I've just noticed it also, and really a pain to have to navigate back to find the listing .........

We're having the same issue! Except we check our emails in our Outlook account, so we cannot clear a cache! This is costing us hours to sort thru 100s of messages a day

Hi @dhbookds! This is something that was brought to our attention last week and we're looking into it. For now, it appears to just be the Ask A Question flow and you should at least see the item number in the subject line. I understand it's nice having the link and info in the email itself though and that feedback has been passed on.

thanks for checking. Just have to say "nice".......is not how I would describe it......it's inefficient to not include a link to the listing......

I will say that, in my email, once you click on reply, you are taken to an ebay message that has the item title which you can click to go to the item listing. However, in ebay messages there is no link and you have to copy/paste the item # to get to the listing........

velvet@ebay @dhbookds @bmajormusicstore - the link is still there if you click reply, you get a page with funky spacing and a really skinny image, but at least you get a link to the item. Hope that helps as a temporary work around at least!

Thanks for responding, we are encountering this issue as well.

Hopefully can be fixed, because it is much, much more time consuming not having the listing to directly reference anymore. I am one person responding, and we have over 700 items listed. Especially on mobile, at least on android on the eBay app, we are not able to copy/paste the item # from a buyer message. It will not let us.

same here but there is a stretched out image on the left just click that and that will bring you to your listing. the image should be a pixelized image from your listing cover pic. its shaped odd and like skinny and the height of the message. kind of odd. message me if you have issues i can show you a pic to explain.
