Complaint on the transparency and integrity of ebay

Dear eBay Customer Support team,

 

 

I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the company's policy regarding transparency and fairness among all sellers, an issue that has been on my mind for a long time.

 

 

I cannot ignore the feeling that there is discrimination among sellers based on geographical location and religious beliefs.

 

It seems that some sellers have more privileges due to these factors, resulting in missed opportunities for other sellers who may offer high-quality products and excellent service.

 

 

Furthermore, there is a lack of transparency on eBay's part regarding the reasons for account suspensions. My success as a seller on the platform has been exceptional since 2017, with no complaints from buyers and a positive feedback rating of 100%. However, I am still unable to determine the clear reasons for the suspension of my account, causing me significant concern and frustration.

 

 

I am a person who believes in the importance of transparency and fairness in any business deal, and this principle should apply to all sellers equally. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter and clarification regarding the actions taken against my account.

Discrimination based on "geographical location and religious beliefs"?

Can you cite examples? How would anyone connected with eBay even know a buyer's or seller's religious beliefs?

And, BTW, when you post here, you aren't addressing eBay or its employees.  These Boards are composed of fellow eBayers, experienced buyers and sellers, who volunteer our time to answer questions or help others.  We are not at all responsible for any account suspensions.

eBay wants sellers from all around the world. They don’t want to know your religion. They don’t care about your religion.

 

you had some issues - bound to happen when you are drop shipping. That’s the issue – not where you’re from, not what you do on Saturdays or Sundays.

eBay doesn't know or care what anyone's religion is. Plus, they have no reason to care where any one lives. eBay just wants to make their commission off any seller, no matter what religion, location, color or beliefs.

 

I believe most restrictions are for seller out of stock cancellations. Cancellations of sales will destroy your account. These don't show up on feedback, so you could have many cancellations and still have perfect feedback. They do show up on your seller dashboard on the seller hub. Take a look at your scores there and you will see what your problem is.

If you read through eBay’s policies it’s all out there written in black and white.

You are a new seller ALL new sellers have selling restrictions on the number of items they can sell and the dollar amount they can earn in 30 days. 

A to Z policies  

User Agreement  

Selling limits 

Payout Holds

Account restrictions and suspension  

If you feel you’re being picked on, then perhaps online sales aren’t for you.
