Seeing issues with the new Community platform?

Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.

 

Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.

100%, it's very sad. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, I know I've said it elsewhere in this thread, but if they keep things this way, it feels as if they're trying to reduce activity in the community. In what way has this improved things?

 

It's sad that the community forums were already less active than in the past, and now after this, even long time community members will be participating less.

I don't need to constantly read "we've moved this thread...."

 

That reminded me.  I think the board mods need some different text on their "locked" icon.  It is saying read only, when in fact they just moved it someplace else,  and you can actually respond.

More white space seems to be the new, hip trend...I remember all the same complaints when ebay first introduced the new my ebay & sellers hub.

 

Tons of empty space...not my cup of tea but we all know ebay does what it wants to regardless of what we say.

Oh...it has already happened.  I see a big lag time between Q's & A's.  Some questions not even being answered...simple ones...by newer eBay users...it's S-A-D.  I agree with @mam98031 , the white is jarring causing eye fatigue...if this format is what the "younger people" like, they will all be needing glasses by the time they hit 30...by then, they will have the eye balls of an 80 year old! 🙄

brian@ebay  - also if you click "Community Help" at the top of any of these new community pages, there is an entire section of "Helpful" FAQs which mostly refers to "Kudos"  😀

I noticed that the number of members on the community boards on the home page is no longer there.  I thought that it might be interesting to see how many people are signed into the community...it's usually around 8K-10K about this time of day/night (where ever you may be) but we cannot see that info anymore...

Not ideal, as you have to change it each time, but you can enlarge the text box by putting your mouse arrow at the bottom edge, then dragging down.
