Recent posts not sorting to the top of the threads now?

Did I do something to make recent posts not show at the top?  I recently posted to a thread that is on my second page & the thread is still on the second page.  I also have threads with most recent posts from yesterday on my first page.  It's difficult to follow threads this way.  Can I fix it?

easiest I have found is to log out and back in.

I understand the reason for moving my thread, but I never think to look here for anything and I bet few others do either. 🙄   Maybe you should fix the problem rather than spending time moving threads.
