Forum Pages Keep Timing Out / Disconnecting

Anybody else having isues trying to get into/read/post on the forums this morning?    I keep getting error messages saying that the page is slow to respond and has timed out.  No similar issues on eBay.com proper or any other sites I've accessed...

No.

I've been on the last hour or so, and have not seen this problem.

Thanks,

@tiramisu41

Not me. And they fixed the can't do helpfuls or do the @ to reply to posters. It is now fine here on Seller Board for me.

Yes, I thought it was my internet connection but then noticed other things were working okay.

Re: Forum Pages Keep Timing Out / Disconnecting

It was really slow early this morning but I could still access all the boards. Then it started just throwing up error messages that it couldn't be reached, didn't exist and all sorts of crazy messages.

I just cleared my cache/cookies (which I absolutely hate to do) and it seems a bit better. Don't know how long it will last.

Cleared stuff, didn't help.

Intermittent problem.  Was OK early this morning, then terrible when this thread started, then OK for a while, now terrible again.

Re: Forum Pages Keep Timing Out / Disconnecting

Yes.  Another odd issue:  Came on the Boards about 7:30AM today.  Could not see any questions from today's date.

By 8AM Eastern time, you know there have to be at least a few.

Re: Forum Pages Keep Timing Out / Disconnecting

Occasionally it hangs for me, not just the forums but ebay in general, refreshing the page usually helps or it just connects after a pause.

My adblockers help load their cluttered pages quicker.

On this forum page, my adblocker is showing 8 ads blocked.  Maybe hidden scripts/trackers because I didn't know the forums had ads. Ebay is loaded with advertisement scripts and redirects that can slow things down. There are other variables too. But intermittent slow-downs are the one thing I can count on with ebay servers.

There have been many posts about this going back many years, like this one;

Re: Forum Pages Keep Timing Out / Disconnecting

Navigation arrow on the right side bottom that takes you back to the top of the page is missing today.

Page timing out started yesterday afternoon for me.  Also got logged out a couple times in the middle of posting.

Annoying.

Yes, @tiramisu41, got that all morning.  Finally it seemed to just straighten out.

There have been issues the last two days.
