Community platform issues I'm monitoring - update as of 2/21

Update as of 2/21, see bold text - Next update on 3/01

Hello Community!

 Here are the issues that I'm currently tracking:

On the list:

  1. Double spacing error when using android - no new updates, the Khoros team is still researching.

Am I missing anything?  If I'm missing anything, please create a brand new post so I can easily track the issue and others can comment as well. The more folks that have the same issue, the easier it’ll be for me to build a case with the support team.

If you come across an issue on Community please note:

  • The date and time that you ran into the bug
  • How long you have been active on Community during your browsing session or how long the page has been up on your browser but not used. We suspect pages that have stayed idle for a long time are susceptible to errors.
  • The browser and operating system that you are using
  • Videos and screenshots are also extremely helpful
  • To avoid running into errors when using community make sure you refresh your page often.

 Providing as much detail as possible helps me to help support in replicating the issue. Once support replicates the issue, then they can work on fixing the problem.

I do understand that "fixing" one issue can "break" something else down the line when it comes to coding, but the line spacing produced by the enter/return key? What in the world? LOL!

Hi nicole@ebay 

 

Is there any update on when the double spacing issue will be resolved?  I still have it on both browsers ... now, my next question is this ... when this is fixed will it go backwards and update previous posts where I ... 

 

... double spaced like this to create a single space line separation.   This post today is doubled spaced so when I post it there is only a single line space shown ...

All my notification entries on my "Notification Feed" have been deleted just a few minutes ago. All of them have been wiped out. It displays only the two I've received in the last few minutes. 

 

What's that about? Why were they deleted? How can I get them back?

@pburn   They may be making some programming corrections to the platform ... mine are all there but I've been away from the computer for a while so they may have disappeared then been put back ... or maybe they will disappear later and reappear tomorrow ... who knows ...

My are back, too--or at least were last time I checked. Thanks for responding--glad I wasn't the only one it happened to.

 

I'm disappointed we didn't get an update on anything else today. Hope all is well with nicole@ebay!

Are the updates usually posted on Wednesdays or Thursdays? I realize OP says next update 11/2 (which is today) but that could be a typo since the last update was Thursday last week.

I don't follow when the updates are "usually posted." The pinned post says 11/2, so that's when I expected to see an update.

Regarding the Double spacing issue, it is not occurring in Private Messaging.  It also does not appear to be an issue in the Signature field.

It's not resolved for me nicole@ebaysheila@ebay . When I hit return, it's still adding an extra space.

This is a screenshot of my draft. I hit enter once so there should be no space between this line and the one above.
