Buyer left negative feedback for FOUR items that were packaged in the same box. USPS DELAYED THE ITEM BECAUSE OF THE WINTER STORM & EBAY REFUSES TO REMOVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK DUE TO THIS DELAY, WHICH IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF EBAYS SELLER PROTECTION POLICY. I have requested the removal twice on the phone with an eBay agent, and both were shocked eBay wouldn’t remove it.
EBAY SELLER PROTECTION IS A JOKE
Buyer also claims items were broken but could not provide proof. All the buyer sent was a photo of perfectly wrapped items.

USPS doesn’t always put weather alerts as the reason for the delay. If the storm had already passed and the roads were still icy, they won’t put weather as the cause

If the buyer had complained about the weather delay, they know their feedback would have been removed

@lindseysfluffs wrote:Honestly, I don’t think she realizes there was a delay in transit. She has never shipped eggs and doesn’t understand how to package them. I’ve been doing it for 15 years. She also doesn’t understand if I had put 2 heat packs in the same box, the eggs would have begun to incubate, then the embryos would have died after they were delivered and removed from the heat source. Eggs can get cold, they just cannot freeze solid.
I didn’t even realize she bought 2 heating packs until she left negative feedback. I promptly refined one. If she wanted eggs packaged a specific way, she needs to alert the seller before she purchases the eggs. And before she leaves negative feedback, she should reach out to the seller.
I think in a way both of you were in the wrong.
They should have reached out to you beofre leaving negative feedback
You should always double check what a buyer has ordered
No returns though can turn buyers off and newer buyers may not know they can always get a refund regardless of your terms so instead they leave negative feedback.
Also you can't tell buyers they have to purchase eggs to get a heat pack.
You should build the heat pack price into the eggs or you are just asking for trouble by selling heat packs in a separate listing and then saying buyers can't purchase them unless they buy eggs....that is a big no no

@lindseysfluffs wrote:And yet they refuse to do it
Of course they did, because these negs had nothing to do with the details stated in the protection notice.
*You live in the South (haven't said where the buyer lives so I'm guessing also South). -The protections are for the Midwest and mid-Atlantic U.S.
*The protections are for sales that the buyers filed Item Not Received cases. -Yours did not.
*Your buyer's complaints had nothing to do with the delay. YOU SAID YOURSELF^ "I don't think she realizes there was a delay." 🤣
You also said "I didn't even realize she bought 2 heat packs until she left negative feedback." -Not knowing what your buyer purchased is about the most obvious good reason for anyone to deserve a neg.
You posted this question in EIGHT forums. You have your answer now.

Sadly, I was in touch with her before I shipped the items. I told her I was going to ship them 1/6 (I think she paid 12/27) out of concern for the safety of their arrival. She said that was fine. She’s mad about the way I packaged the eggs — she has only ordered eggs a handful of times and apparently thinks everyone packages eggs the same way. She also claims 1 egg was broken but sent a picture of perfectly packaged eggs. Had she reached out to me, like I do with every buyer, I would have replaced ALL of the eggs at no charge. I don’t care whose fault it is, when someone pays that much for eggs. I always make sure they get what they paid for

Our roads are all melted off and snow is almost gone and they still marked all mine as weather delays even yesterday at my local post office.

So instead of trying to squeeze these negs out of an eBay loophole that has zero to do with your buyer's actual dissatisfaction, why not offer her to send a full replacement in exchange for her removing the negs?

If you buyer had mentioned a delay in their feedback (possibly removeable)
If buyer had opened an INR (possibly removeable)
Buyer said items were broken and not all items sent.
This is why your feedbacks are not removeable......the feedbacks had nothing to do with weather delays

The feedback I see has to do with damage, nothing about being delivered late.

Exactly, hopefully the seller realizes now that she is at fault

Was this material sent by what we used to call overnight mail?
I was going to say the same thing.
2 heat packs will not last twice as long, they will just be twice as hot.
10 heat packs will not last 10X longer, they will just be 10X hotter.
Great minds think alike. 😉

I remember one time in the 70s, my Dad was stationed at Fort Polk and we got a dusting of snow.
They had to shut the whole town down because they didn't know how to handle the snow.
It was the first time in like 50 years that little town seen snow.

eBAy did not promise to remove feedbacks for someone who failed to ship part of an order and had an item arrive damaged. If you just take the original post of everything people complain about in these threads without reading the replies, no wonder you have such a negative opinion.
