Shipping refund

I shipped an item and it was damaged when it reached the buyer. I have no problem refunding the cost of the item BUT am I obligated to refund the initial shipping cost too? I know I have to pay return shipping if I want it back. Any ideas? Thanks!

Archiving seasonal listings
