Restricted to One Listing?

Hello!

I'm hoping I can get some suggestions on this issue I'm having. I've been an eBay member for 10 years now and have sold on and off over the years. I recently started selling some products again on Facebook marketplace but I would like to expand to eBay. Problem is I keep getting a message that I'm restricted to one listing. I have perfect feedback and have continued to use my eBay account for buying things. Is this because I haven't sold in awhile and if so, how long can I expect to wait before I can list more? The odd thing is that I currently have a promotion on my account for 200 free listings this month but I can only take advantage of one of those listings.

Any help is appreciated!

You are a brand new user.   Just buy something before selling.   Then sell a few things and ship immediately.   When you get good feedback and DSRs, you will be all set to open the floodgates

once you stop selling for a while, dont know ebays time on this,  you have to start all over and prove yourself again.   things change, things happen,  during those breaks and i feel for ya but understand where they are coming from also

Restricted to One Listing?

The word is that eBay has placed these over-the-top limits on rarely used accounts to prevent hackers from high-jacking them. My advice would be to list and sell the one item, and then request higher selling limits. As an established member, i'm hoping eBay would lift the restriction for you right away, but this is a relatively new practice and there is not a lot of info about it.
