I sold an item and the buyer filed "item not received". Tracking was showing "late delivery". No movement at all. Bottom line.... I refunded the buyer this morning because I was out of time in regards to eBay's time to resolve.
Just received a notification from USPS that the item is out for delivery today..... so now what do I do? I've already refunded the buyer and now the item is out for delivery. She wants to pay for it but there is no way to do that because eBay doesn't provide a way to resolve the issue..... Am I missing something here?
I would think that eBay would have a way to deal with this type of thing.

In this case eBay is okay with you giving her your PayPal address for payment.

When the Not Received case was filed did you put the tracking number in to the case?
eBay cannot make the buyer repay once you refund.
You can ask the buyer if they will and give your PayPal email for payment, but the buyer is not required to pay again.

Yes, I did everything by the book with eBay. Uploaded tracking and resolved within time frame.
It's good to know I can invoice her through PayPal..... Thanks

Just had another thought.... how do I get her email address or give her my email address? Doesn't eBay prohibit exchanging email addresses in their messaging system?

Had this happen and I contacted eBay Facebook page and they reversed the refund and I got my money back.

@ci1000 then you should NOT have refunded until ebay said to do so.
Case opened
Give Tracking (on time)
Do nothing until ebay tells you to

Out for delivery is not Delivered! Buyer still can say item was stolen or at wrong address even. Wait till delivered and ask buyer to PP you thru your email. Honest buyers will do that; i am 2 for 2 in 9 years!

They only block that before a sale has taken place. After a sale has been completed (or even before payment has been made, but once they've committed to buy, I think), it allows email addresses/phone numbers, etc to be exchanged.

Ebay may as a courtesy refund the seller.
However it's not a reversal. Ebay is not able to reverse refunds.
