Autopay. I think buyers are using this to delay payment. What to do when combining shipping?

If purchasing multiple items on different days this pushes payment out another week. Where do I find rules for use of autopay?

Are there incentives of selling and opting to keep the money assigned to your ebay account?

Don't see mentions of extra store credit involved. Pricing for shipping is the same. You can cover the same costs and taxes with your own payment method. Am i missing something regarding enrollment here?
