Shout out to the USPS.

I may be in the minority but i'm a big fan of the USPS.

Considering how many packages they handle,  I think they do a pretty darn good job.

From Hawaii to Maine in a few days for a few bucks. You can't beat that.

I was on the USPS website tonight to schedule a pick up and this banner popped up.

I though i would share it with everyone.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS USPS!

I always use USPS. No surprises, no after the fact charges.

Joyless had many sorting machines destroyed. That lost equipment can not be easily replaced overnight. I think they are doing great after all the damage done to them. I have not had one package lost. And only 2 that were  1 day late in the past month.

look like you are employee of USPS and doing  advertisement for USPS a terrible carrier , the number you have mentioned above is half of packages were delivered damaged. every year USPS is increasing rates 3 times and getting money from our taxes.  12x12x12 1 lb cost from NY to CA  around 10$ and 13x12x12 2 lb cost from NY to CA 50$ this is how USPS are deceiving with people. when you call USPS helpline not matter holiday season or not you have to wait for 3 hours to someone answer you. many packages are being stolen too  and who is doing that guess!!!!

I looked at several of your listings and found it rather strange they each listed USPS Priority mail as the shipping service you use.   Such an odd post to make for a service you use for your own business.

Don't say this too loudly.   I sure don't want DeJoy to know that, despite all he as done,  he is failing so far to destroy the service.   I feel he underestimated all the good hard working career people across the country.

My son is working for them over winter break again at a sorting center.  Exhausting work, long, long days.  Pay is low, work is back breaking.

It is not an easy job - often a thankless one with a lot of stress.  Rural carriers are salaried, not hourly and often 14 hour days.

Thank you for your post.  My mail postmaster is my neighbor and he is awesome.  My business has been successful thanks to him.  So very grateful!

I have absolutely zero complaints about them this year. All 20 packages I've shipped so far in December have arrived on time with the exception of one package that's still in transit five days after being shipped, but it's First Class mail so even that isn't bad at all.

Last year I had packages taking two weeks or so and three that took an entire month to be delivered-- one of which was going literally 45 minutes away!

Unless, of course, your package happens to go through Memphis Processing.

I haven't even had any problems with Memphis this year. Last year was a different story, but this year every package I've shipped that ended up going through there was processed within 24 hours.

Thank You*** I have shipped over 1800 packages in the last couple years with USPS Priority Insured Mail, and KNOCK-on wood NO problems.  They pick the packages up at my house and delivery is always on time or early, even during the pandemic.   I live in Tennessee and most of the times when shipping to California is a 2-to-3-day delivery.  Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas to All.

Priority Mail package is still touring USA for 10+ days. Another Priority was lost by USPS and USPS denied insurance (and an appeal - for a different reason). Not a fan. Not at all.

Memphis hub is one of the worst some of my shipments have sat there for 1 week before any movement, and God help them if you want updated tracking!!!

They've made everything I am doing possible - regardless of occasional annoyance which is usually not even the clerk's fault - because the goal of the transaction is no longer financial but data-driven.

If you have problems with a package with USPS you cannot get in touch with a human on their phone lines. With Fed Ex I get on the phone and a customer service rep is available right away and they can tell me exactly where these packages are and exactly within 3 feet with their GPS system exactly where they were dropped off. Far superior service.

lol, of 2 personal packages, one shows acceptance but nothing else after 3 days, one took 10 days to be delivered today about 500 miles away..........

Just an update........ the one with acceptance and no other scans will be delivered today.  The other one is delivered, later than it should have been.......but I have no complaints.

Shout out to the USPS.

I just returned from a 3 week vacation and had a large tub full of accumulated mail that I picked up at the post office Wednesday.

Although it was not my mail, I was very upset and rather miffed to find 9 pieces of other people first class mail near the bottom of the tub, which I immediately returned to the post office and waited on line for 40 minutes to let the manager know about.

This was not advertising or "junk" mail.  These were 2 electric bills, 3 bank statements, 1 credit card bill, 1 auto insurance bill and 2 store specific credit card bills.  I imagine those people are either frantic wondering where their mail is or will be shocked when they receive late charges on missed payments.   Sad.

I understand USPS is overwhelmed and understaffed but still, sad.

every USPS employee when retire get paid for their rest of life, you think this money is coming from where? its coming from our tax money simply. USPS is govt entity and is running on tax money. i ship 75000  packages every year and i know very well what USPS is doing with packages. many times i get over charged by USPS and when i file claim they have poor process of claims since last year.
