I accepted a remorse return.
It's been over 2 weeks, and there is no evidence of return shipment.
Can I block this buyer now or should I need to wait until the return is closed out?
Thanks.

To retest for sure someone that has a good relationship with a recent buyer would have to run a "true test". Sorry for the flawed logic test, but I can confirm that as a potential buyer there was no indication that the message was not going to go where I thought it was. No indication of a "block" .

The reason I wanted to block the buyer is because the buyer is a blockhead. 😂
She didn't like the item for reasons that were clearly spelled out in the listing, so it was obvious she had not read the description nor reviewed the photos.

What am I incorrect about?
I already explained it.

You tried to correct me twice when I wasn't incorrect ? 🤔

No, I did not already refund -- thanks.

You can block them now if you don't need to hear from them ever again... I think you can still communicate through the return (if that's even an option).
I generally don't block until I've refunded now that messages are blocked too, that way if I need to talk to them I still can, otherwise they might think I'm ignoring and leave negative feedback (because they are ignored).

Thanks. I don't want to be a hostage to FB, but at the same time I know the more positive FB I have, the more it will dilute a negative.
And I do enjoy receiving it. I feel good knowing the person loves the item and is happy with the transaction.

I'm having a Lucy / Charlie Brown moment.

No that's not an option.
There is no communication inside a return.
That's INR only.

I think you told me that two weeks ago and it slipped my mind.
I must go to the sales order and send messages to communicate with anyone returning. I usually communicate if a partial refund will make the problem go away (usually because the partial I'm offering is a good deal for the buyer and cheaper than me paying return shipping to my shipper, then their fee to import it back into Canada). On more expensive items I just take the return.

Ah, that might have been me. Funnily enough, it was on another thread by the same OP as this one.

I agree with fbusoni...
'Top Rated' seller means nothing.
One can list thousands of items...some list 100,000+ in my category and sell quite well without being it(TRS) and plus having so many negative feedbacks and sell quite well.

When did I ever say top rated meant anything.
Please quote me.
Still both of you fail to show how that increases sales.
Having good customer service is obviously a good thing and helps to bring in repeat customers, and helps with showing trust with positive feedback.
However, the example provided is non sense. It will not bring your traffic to a crawl.
Having good optimized listings with good pictures and a good price. Sells items, especially for desirable ones.
I can block every person who does a return and it will cause 0 impact on my sales with other buyers, it will not require me to promote at increased rates.
All that is non sense.

Are you suggesting you have no evidence of me saying something because what I said was deleted ?
I never did.
That's just bad faith.
