I received an order with a questionable name, The address is legit, But the name get this Demon Killer Gang!, Is this some Halloween thing?, The order has value so I informed the buyer That it will be sent with delivery confirmation, Signature required, Just for a precautionary , It was worth the little bit extra, I do not wish to be scammed.

Only for INR.
They can still say INAD or unauthorized transaction.

No, as long as you shipped to the address on the order and tracking shows delivery, you're protected against an "unauthorized" chargeback.

I sell a lot of Fantasy Gaming related items and I see these fake fantasy names all the time. It is nothing I would worry about. Never had one of those people give me trouble, it is always the ones with their real name, spouse's name or mom's name on the account.

The weirdest name I ever had in the last 18 years was Ricky2Dicks. Not joking! Shipped it out with that name and still reference it at friend gatherings, lol!

I googled the name and it's the legit name of a rapper from Detroit. What does the feedback look like? Frequent purchases?

new account from yesterday probably does not have a whole lot of feedback.

I can see why it gave you pause. But it is unlikely to be an issue. As others have said, signature confirmation only confirms delivery. You get that with tracking already. The person signing for the package is not required to be the same as the package is addressed.

Hoping that don't happen, But I get it.

There are few after the sale actions you can take which minimize your risk. Signature confirmation is one, although it is usually less effective than some sellers want to believe.
Its usefulness, in the listing or after the sale is primarily as a deterrent to bad behavior. It makes the buyer aware that you are suspicious.
Whether it helps with a chargeback dispute appears inconsistent. Since EBay does not limit shipments to addresses which match the credit card's AVS system all submissions for Proof of Delivery are not iron clad.
Your buyers are likely to be different from my buyers so I would not know what to expect of them.

It was not in my description, But I informed the customer that it was being sent that way.

Let's wish me well instead.

Hopefully adding that signature to the delivery won't present a problem for the buyer. Some are not home during regular business hours because they work away from home.

Hopefully everything will be just fine.
