I rarely ever comment on this forum. In fact I hardly ever open the page. Reason being 90% of what is posted is negativity. I've never seen such a bunch of negative Nellies. Constantly hammering on eBay policies, complaining about low sales, ticked off because a buyer didn't pay. C'mon folks! You knew when you signed on that there would be non paying bidders here and there. If you are having problems with low sales maybe you need to check your inventory. Deal in something different and desirable. I've been on eBay since 2000. I pretty much have had auctions every week since then. Has every week set a record---heck no. But, I've made a lot of money on eBay and and have had far more positive weeks then negative ones. I never do fixed price--always auctions and I'll never change that. It works for me. Stop the belly aching and blaming eBay or the economy and take a good hard look at what your selling and your pricing. Try some different inventory that can't be price shopped. Unique items that can't be found in brick and mortar stores. Suck it up and take responsibility upon your self AND STOP SPREADING DOOM AND GLOOM.

@chapeau-noir wrote:So OP starts a thread complaining about the complaining and now we're complaining about the thread about complaining about complaining, and they've posted again complaining about our discussion complaining about the complaining. I have a complaint about this.
and every GOOD office has a special file for all those complaints. These files only take up a small area, usually about 15" tall. They can be round or rectangular. Some have a built in 'filing' machine on the top of them. Some have lids, others have a small foot pedal that opens the lid for you when the files require both hands.
On another note- it is common knowledge (in the 'selling/retail world') that out of 1000 customers, 990 of them have no problems with their transaction and 989 of them will tell NO ONE!
10 customers have a problem and 9 out of ten will tell Multiple everyones.

Just a quick compilation:
-I do all the work to drive business to ebay with my stuff.
- I pay ebay for a monthly store fee.
-I pay ebay for a FVF up to 30% of the sale.
etc.
If I want to push a sale and have my listing "promoted", I have a gazillion options to research myself on how to do this and make ebay more money. And then...
-I pay ebay for promotional fees.
Then... if my item sells on promotional, I pay ebay more, because they "kindly" gave me an option to sell as a garbage promotion mingled in with other garbage promotions in a severely flooded category.
This also gives you the illusion, as a seller, that you have something going with your store and exposure... like a "potential", and you list more, to give it another shot because stuff may be selling after all....
🙂 More of my stuff will end up with SA, or be donated. I just don't think I have the nerve anymore, TBH. It's so much work! 🙂
NO! What universe is this?

"Person is a tad peeved seeing the prices in the gutter. Still lists with much effort and detail. Ebay shingles and doesn't care. Ebay wants money for store and ensures for itself final value fees are collected. Ebay is a tad greedy in my view, there as it is not helpful to make sales happen/successful. Ebay can be picky/**bleep**y, as it has nothing to write off, really."
When did this become Ebays responsibility to 'make your sales happen/ successful'? Of course Ebay wants to be paid for your store and fvf's,this is 'greedy'? Not to be snarky, but clothing is such an oversaturated market here, with millions of run of the mill listings, its not really surprising that your prices are in the gutter. Clothing has become a tough sell on Ebay.

My items are not "oversaturated". Please humor me and go to one of your sourcing locations and replicate a SINGLE listing of mine tomorrow as new. It's ebay's responsibility as a platform and provider to push sales for their paying clients and ITSELF!
Yes, this IS eBay's responsibility! I don't sell Forever 21 which are an impossible sell.
What are the items you push?

I dont 'push' any items, Im a very infrequent seller now.Ebay may be a platform but they are sure not a 'provider', its up to you to sell your items, not Ebay.Im sorry, but your clothing items are oversaturated in an oversaturated market. Its not meant to insult you...merely a fact. There are millions more just like them on this platform. With almost two billion listings here, thats not surprising is it?

Like always... since the 90s... It's their business model!

So, let me get this right. You are posting to complain about the complainers. Interesting. I don't see the diff.

Instead of posting here about nothing, you should be working on your feedback, IMO. We have the spelling police, so now we have the complaint police. Sorry, I don't like either. Last I checked, it was a free country, and we had freedom of speech. If you don't like what you read here, I would suggest moving on.
