Buyer didn't read the description

I am an artist and I sell artwork.I recently sold a graphite pencil drawing of a Chanel no 5 bottle. The picture I uploaded is of my artwork and the description clearly states it's artwork and the type of material used and of course dimension. The buyer receives the package and messages me that she didn't recieve what she had ordered.I assume she expected to receive a real bottle of Chanel???This has never happened to me.It's beyond weird. How can anybody be that confused?I expect she will want a refund.I don't accept returns because if the artwork is torn or stained it becomes useless.I am not sure how to handle this.

You need to change "something" FAST. Either your titles, your descriptions, or your pictures. There are not that many stupid people in the world for it to happen daily.

There are enough liars in the world feigning ignorance for it to happen daily.

Re: Buyer didn't read the description

Doesn't matter. I advertised digital comics and description states all comics come on DVD-R with reading software. I also included cover scans to show what some of the books looked like. The buyer thought he was getting actual comics. Cause all he did was look at pictures and totally ignored the title which even states they are on DVD-R but never read description either. This doesn't happen all that often cause most people have common sense but a few you just have to put up with. I bar them when they show up. You usually can tell who they are when they start asking a lot of stupid questions. If they buy the object before I can bar them I return their money and bar them it is perfectly legal and a lot simpler than dealing with a return item which ebay will probably side with the buyer anyways.

Re: Buyer didn't read the description

There are a few of listings on eBay for vintage photos of Classic Chanel No. 5. perfume bottles.   I imagine your buyer would think she was getting a perfume bottle from those sellers as well.   There are people who just look at pictures and don't bother to read listing descriptions.  However  those are the minority.  I'm glad your problem was solved.
