Hey guys. I wonder when do you leave feedback to your customers. As I buyer I almost always get a feedback already after purchase and payment "fast payment, quick response bla bla bla" or don't get any feedback at all.
I usually track my shipments so I leave feedback when the item is delivered. When do you leave? After payment? Or you wait a little bit because the buyer could be a scammer and you can't report him after positive feedback? Maybe you wait for a positive feedback from buyer. Or never leave feedbacks?
I always leave feedbacks. I saw few negative feedbacks of my friends and sellers I buy from. "The seller didn't leave me a feedback so I'm gonna leave him negative feedback because I purchased 3 items". For me as a buyer, it's pretty funny. As a seller: scared me that no feedback could be a such big problem for customers.

@tellmemama wrote:I went to leaving f/b upon payment, and now that you cannot leave bad f/b for bad buyers waiting is totally pointless.
Is it though? Even if it only prevents just one scammer/nightmare buyer from getting undeserved positive feedback, waiting is worth it. I'm sure many "feedback first" sellers who have experienced either of these buyers regret posting it at payment. Talk about adding insult to injury...
I leave buyers feedback upon cleared payment.
One buyer left me a neg.
I didn't care about the pos feedback I left the buyer first, and I didn't even care about the neg.

whenever I get around to it, I do not feel a buyer or seller should be obsessing over it as it's voluntary.

You have invoked "She Who Must Not Be Named"!
Thread isn't over yet, you know.

When the buyer lets me know that the item has arrived safely and they are satisfied with the transaction either by leaving feedback or messaging me stating such.

I generally don't leave buyer feedback- since the feedback is lopsided(can only leave positive) and unessential for buyers. I refuse to participate. However I will leave it if a buyer is also a seller and contacts me about it, as sellers reputation if more dependant on feedback ratings

Can't the Kraken just mutate over on the Feedback Board? Takes a lot of energy reading postings here. lol. And where is the Kraken picture?

I agree.
I only feedback buyers when they dont ask for a refund and return.
Otherwise why the heck would I leave them any positive feedback when they may have scammed me?
Dont get me wrong some buyers do ask nicely for returns and refunds. The ones who send the items back and dont neg me --- I sometimes leave them a positive.
Its a slippery slope you know--- you talk to a buyer --- you dont know if he is happy or not even if they kept an item.
Most sellers dont want to risk their own feedback being negged.

I only leave if they leave one. I am afraid I might give a positive feedback , and they add negative feedback later or want to return the item,

I have had late paying buyers, rude buyers etc etc- and since I cannot leave anything but 'positive' whats the point?? At the very least I should be able to leave negative for non payng bidders!! Feedback is only good for the sellers imho. For buyers its more like bragging rights - or maybe a popularity contest like someone on FB with 4.3 billion followers.
I don't think so.

@southern*sweet*tea wrote:I leave it when I ship. " Thank you for your purchase, etc." That takes care of people who think feedback is manditory and who leave retaliatory negs for sellers who wait, and for the general wingnuts who's only focus in life is the green donut. You know, people like this:
The ONLY feedback a buyer can receive is positive. Negative statements are a policy violation, and if reported by a buyer will get a seller dinged. Withholding feedback as a warning or endorsement is now useless, since it cannot be honest and true.
That said, feedback is voluntary. Nobody has to leave it at all, however there are some people that think it's somehow owed to them. It's not.
I relish the day when feedback goes away for good.
That feedback is just sad.

@lovingroger2020
I don't leave feedback until the item has been delivered and they have it a couple days.
