Hello,  I've got myself a scammer issue that i haven't been able to find help with online. So on April 10 i sold a VCR to a buyer. He sent me a message offering me a price and i accepted it. He also said that he had bought one the week before and it arrived not working and was a hassle sending a dead unit back and forth. I didn't think much about that at the time. April 15 he gets the VCR and messages me saying that I didn't pad the VCR enough and that it arrived with the front panel broken off. I packed it very safely as i do with all of my items, but i understand that damage could still happen. He then told me that if i wanted it back i needed to pay the return shipping, which was over $40. I then asked him if he could send me pictures of the VCR because i padded extra on the front panel and thought it was strange. He then says "Yes, i will send you a picture" and then continued to say i didn't have enough padding and how much it would cost me to send it back. He didn't send a picture so i messaged him again and said "Please send me pictures of the VCR along with the box i packaged it in and packaging material i sent along with it." The box had handwriting on it all over so if he was to send a picture i would know it's my box, and if needed i would file a case to USPS. He did not send any pictures or even try to get into contact with me until today, April 25, saying the same things and that he wants me to issue a refund because his money has been tied up in this for two weeks. He also did NOT at any point send me pictures of anything. I read that this is a type of scam where they say that the items broken then try to basically get a free item after refunding. His account has over 4000 reviews all being 100% positive, but he has not had anything for sell or is selling anything. He also has his feedback on private so i can't read any reviews. I then started to refresh the page on his profile and have seen his reviews actually go up, i actually have video proof of it. Now i am relatively new to eBay, a little over a year, but i'm pretty sure theres no way to leave feedback on a profile that hasn't sold anything or is selling anything right? So what should i do in this situation? He's had the item for almost 2 weeks and hasn't provided any proof that the item's actually broken even though he agreed that he would. Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not know an easy way to find these 3 simple numbers for tax purposes at the end of each year.  Maybe another seller can enlighten me?     1.   Total net selling fees paid to ebay in a calendar year.   (One simple year-end breakdown of all insertion fees, final value fees, subscription fees, promoted listing fees, and credits/discounts).  The monthly invoices used to provide all this, but eBay changed the invoice format in Aug 2020, and again in March 2021.  I would like a simplified Year-End invoice with the total net fees paid for the entire year, with a simple breakdown of the totals for each category (insertion fees, final value fees, subscription fees, promoted listing fees, credits/discounts).   2.  Total shipping paid for the entire year of sales.    (One simple report showing how much you paid for shipping labels for the year).   3.  Total refunds given  (There is a refunds report in the Payments section, but I cannot download a CSV of it to my knowledge.  Right now I can only save it as a PDF, so I have to manually input the values into Excel to calculate the total.)   If anyone knows an easier way to calculate those year-end totals, please let me know.  Otherwise, eBay, could you please provide these tools to sellers in a future seller update?   Thank you for your time. ... I called Fedex and asked if they can leave my package at their post office and they said they are not allowed to unless the shipper allows it. So I contacted my seller 3 times and he has never responded once in a span of a couple days. hi there,    im a very new seller so im confused about this message I got from my buyer.   they said they purchased 3 items from me, but can't check out (I think that's what they meant?) im nearly positive I had international shipping off, but they're from Chile I believe.    here the basic message: "Hello. I bought you three products: (a), (b), and (c) [I removed the item names for this inquiry just in case yr not supposed to have someone's exact message]. I have "requested Total" but Ebay throws an error. I'm a total noob.    Guestimated shipping weight/costs/etc (obvi a snafu). DUH! lol    I'm totally ok with paying the difference. When I'm about to buy the shipping label, it's letting me change the weight and dimensions. And it's letting me purchase this higher priced shipping label than the one that was in my original listing.   I just want to be sure my buyer doesn't get charged or anything.    Thanks! ... Hello. So, someone just purchased an item an item from me. No payment made, it's just labeled as bought.   The buyer then proceeds to message me, wanting to communicate outside the eBay website through phone text instead.   Asked for my eBay username (which I found odd) and PayPal e-mail. Said they would pay for the item to br shipped elsewhere, to a friend as a birthday gift and for a $300 eBay as well.   Well, I went on a Google search for a $300 gift card and came across numerous stories on here of other people being scammed in a similar fashion.   Only in my case, I don't what to make of it now... A buyer from Mexico City bought a Victoria's Secret bra and then messaged me if I ship there and how much it would cost. I am enrolled in Global Shipping and figured Mexico was included and a page that came up in research has it as part of it. In my listing under shipping details the list of countries included and excluded it is in neither. I received an action required message to send invoice. Global shipping doesn't seem to be an option? I sent the wrong item to a customer. I did not cancel the order. Instead, I printed out a new shipping label and sent the card again. Package intercept is more than the cost of the card. I've reached out to the buyer hoping they would send it back at my expense with an inconvenience fee. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Hi. I sold some chairs via Local Pickup almost a month ago. The buyer has arranged a Shipping Service to pick up the chairs as they are not located locally to me. We have communicated several times throughout the past month concerning the status of the pickup (there were delays in the schedule for the Shipping service), and it looks like the shipper will finally be here this week to retrieve the chairs.   What is the best way to handle the transaction with the service when they arrive? I can have a form ready for the shipper to sign off, but wondering if anyone else has done this or can offer a template.   Also, is there anything else I can do to protect myself in this scenario?   Thanks! ... Recently, I’m experiencing zero history new EBay members that hit the buy button, fail to pay for the item, then disappear.  After multiple attempts to reach the “buyer”, zero response, zip, nada.  I have had 2 of  these within weeks. I have a package that I shipped in feb 2021 through USPS 1st class mail, with a tracking no. that verifies the package has been received by USPS  & is in transit. the buyer opened an item not received case against me. I was told by ebay customer service (after being transferred by 3 people) that if the package is never delivered that I would be responsible for refunding the buyer. REALLY? last time I checked, this issue was covered in the seller protection policy. which I can not find now, & all people at ebay customer service had no idea what I was talking about. do sellers not have anything on their side, whats going on?  ...
