Managed payments SUCK

This new payments system sucks. I don't get my money right away & it's not going into my paypal account. It is screwing up my accounting and making it harder to pay for shipping as I have to transfer money into my paypal to pay for shipping. I don't know which items they are giving me my money for. They get to hold onto it in their bank and are making millions on interest while they have it thinking we are stupid and have no idea what they are doing. It is making things so much harder to sell on here. No wonder the honest dealers are leaving, I'm about to call it quits as well. I want to handle my own funds. I'm not a 14 year old that needs help managing his money. Tell eBay to GIVE us back our MONEY!

I agree with you !! Pretty soon the certain few will be on here telling you why we are wrong for hating a messed up unfair payment system designed to hijack the sellers business and making it it ebays business ! I have refused to sign up and I will continue to stand strongly opposed to MP !! You are not alone !! Regards

I completely agree. I have talked to CS & insisted they send a report detailing these same complaints. I, too, am looking into alternative selling options on other sites.

If you expected it to go into paypal, you need to read up and understand about MP.......you do yourself a disservice by misunderstanding.........  For instance you don't need money in PP for shipping, you can pay for shipping from your pending payments.........

When purchasing postage, there is a check box to have it taken out of PayPal or out of your pending payments.  You choose.

I does not appear you have done your homework.  If you think your money is going to go into your PP account, then you don't understand even the basics of MP.  Money from MP will not be going to your PP account.  

You need to take some time and learn about what MP is and what it will do.  You don't even have the basics down yet, so that is the place to start.  

In the Seller Hub there is a tab called Payments.  I suggest you go there and get really familiar with the various screens and information offered there.  It will give you a good start.  

I'm sure this is making it harder on your right now because you don't understand the program.  Don't jump to conclusions without knowing how the program even works.  FYI, Ebay nor Mp earn ANY interest on monies held in MP.  So you are just misinformed.  

Before you call it quits, take some time to stop, take a breath and learn.  You may just find it isn't as bad as you think it is.

I have not been paid since the 9th.  Getting pretty sick of this poop.  I know how it all works but they always seem to hold money on the weekends but this is ridiculous.   Hundreds of dollars are backed up.

I also have a Wagon Train account and sold there today and it went to PP instantly which was so refreshing.  Not much sells there, but it was nice to experience how things are supposed to work

Managed payment funds are sent thru banks and the reason you have not gotten any deposits is because  Saturday, Sunday, and yesterday were not business days. Federal holidays like Columbus Day which was yesterday are not business days. Most banks were closed and post office didn’t deliver mail.

MP only processes on Business Days.  The 9th was Friday.  And Monday was a Federal Holiday.  So Saturday through Monday there would not have been any transfers for you if you are on Daily Deposit [lousy name].

Comparing MP to PP will only give you more stress.  As we know they are vastly different programs and we can't go back.  So let it go and move forward.  

MP is working as they have designed it to work for most of us.  There are exceptions of some sellers having serious issues and MP needs to take care of these sellers ASAP.  For for your issue specifically that is how the system is currently designed.  

I do understand how this business day processing thing is really problematic for many sellers.  It is my hope that MP will change back to what they use to do and there was Saturday processing.  Maybe not as robust as weekdays, but still they happened.  We need to encourage MP to move back to that process as it would really help a whole lot of sellers.

MP isn't a bank either.  Your trying to compare something that isn't comparable as they are different things, in your effort to throw shade on MP at every turn you can find whether factual or true.

Some sellers use shipping methods that PayPal shipping offers and eBay shipping does not offer.  So for them this is a real issue.

although that may be true the fact still remains that PP in overall context is a 1000 times better payment method than MP. It was fast , reliable , and it worked !
