I received a package in the mail the other day that I did not order. I didn't even have an account until I created one so that I could hopefully get an answer on what to do! I'm sure someone is looking for their purchase but I don't have any idea how to let the seller know. I have the name & address of the seller on the label, the ebay return ID and order #. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to see the proper owner get their item. Thanks!

Still would like to know why whoever sent the package to the OP was able to obtain the OP's address, since the OP evidently has NEVER bought or sold on eBay before.

It could be just fraud return. The buyer photoshopped the return label and sent a cheap stuff to a random address in the same zip code of the seller to meet the return requirement. OP may take it to the post office to check if the original address is really your address.

Oh my gosh, I just got another jersey dropped off at my place last night. What the heck ... I know it's not a secret Santa, sizes are random and different baseball teams ... and I'm a hockey mom at that!! I feel bad if someone is missing out on their purchases, but I don't have a lot time to keep trying to figure this out. Guess at best, I will pay it forward and donate them to someone in need. Thank you all for your input ... May you have a Blessed Christmas Season!

Then at least spend the time to understand this:
Those are not misdelivered purchases. Your name and address is being used as a return address.

Possibly, the two addresses were somehow related and the person who was delivering it got it mixed up.

I've seen this game before. The jerseys could be coming from China and the sender doesn't want to deal with the international returns. So they stuck on a random name and address, the recipient's, and the stuff gets sent "back". Buyer gets a refund and doesn't care what happens to the jersey. Seller doesn't want it back and doesn't care either. Meanwhile, the person whose address was used gets free merch and a lot of confusion.

I got a basketball card that I didn't order, and I don't have the envelope it came in. I ordered a few of the same card and didn't realize I didn't order this one until I went to give feedback.
