I just recently sold a dji accessory bundle bag. Buyer just filed an item not recieve complaint and stated the box was empty. The item was delivered yesterday. How does Ebay handle claims of this sort ? I know the usps weighs each item that is checked in with any prepaid label. And I 100% sent the item to the buyer. Any help or feedback will be appreciated. Thanks

Your buyer filed the wrong complaint, he did receive something. He should have filed an item not as described complaint. If the box had been tampered with and opened, there would have been a note on it from the USPS. Wait and see if he files the correct case,if he does, Ebay will force you to refund. You can always file an appeal after the case is closed.

Seller protection on Ebay is an old wives tale.

How do you know he is actually lying? That doesn't seem obvious, merely an assumption. You may be right, but you may be wrong.
Because of this uncertainty, and lack of evidence, the buyer protections will be superior if he files an INAD.
Wifh the INR, all you have to do is add the delivered tracking to the case and you should win.
If he opens a return INAD, and sends you an empty box, you will still have to refund.

The tracking number was provided. And states delivered. Does the weight of the package not mean anything? Now he has the same items for sale on his Ebay account with the actual drone. It just screams a false claim/statement.

They opened an INR case? Since you have proof of delivery you can win this since they opened the wrong type of case.
